    Hi all,

For anyone experiencing issues getting the app to sync, please give the following steps a shot and let me know how you fare:

Go to START >Type in "Windows Firewall with Advanced Security" (Without quotes)

    Click > Inbound Rules

Click > New Rule (Right column)

    Click > Program > Next

Browse > Ghost Recon WIldlands EXE (GRW.exe) Wherever it is installed for you > Next

    Allow the connection > Next

Keep all 3 checked > Next

Name it what you like > Description > Finish

Do this for Outbound Rule as well so they can communicate.

Currently in the full game i can't get it to work at all. And it seems i'm not the only one.
Log into HQ app with your Xbox account. If that still doesn't help, download the Xbox app and connect that up and try the HQ app again.

Also: Open up UDP 6000 and UDP 7000 on your router, I set it up to port forward those to my xbox

Worked thanks. This info took bit effort to find though.
Also seems like you can only move 1250 units per resource? Perhaps more once I've used those?

I posted earlier in another GRWHQ thread that has disappeared down the line.
Anyone else having trouble getting the app to even open?
Trying on an iPad 2 (latest update), have uninstalled/ installed several times, still no joy. I just see the the opening page for 10 seconds before it close the app.
Would be nice to use this as a companion to playing on full Ghost mode.
    Any ideas much appreciated thanks.

For me on PC it was Windows Firewall that was blocking it, adding the ports to my router changed nothing. I had to go to the "Rules" for GR and change URL to Any and it worked instantly. I even removed the port forwarding from my router. Oh I am running the App on an iPad Air 2.

    PC Version

I am having still trouble as well, I tried all mentioned PC-solutions without any luck. If anyone got any other tips, please share.

I can ping my PC from my phone... the more I attempt to get it to sync, the more I start to sink
And the ports on the PC are not occupied by any other program (verified this by trying to open UDP port 6000 before and after GRW was running).

The only "different" thing than regular users is that I'm behind 2 routers. 1 from my cable compaby (modem+router) and my linksys router. But it should not be any problem - my portforwarding for other services seem to work just fine.

Why couldn't this be some UPNP-based service which should work anywhere and everywhere, must have saved a lot of syncing issues, from any place.

My next step will probably be to snoop my network traffic and see if any signal is being sent or received... I'm out of options, and full of resources to send.

Just curious... I am tempting to try this as well, did you lose your "mini-game" progress upon reinstalling?

Sadly I wouldn't know. The point of my post is that I cannot even get the iOS app to open...holds at loading screens...then shuts.
I've never even got past that point since the beta. Tried everything and my device specs seem sound.
