I gave this game a negative preview on the steam because it doesn't have the English language by default, and I'm forced to play the game in language of my location. Because of that every time a read a guide I need to wonder how the hell the translators translated it in my game.
Also P2P is working really bad, the imput lag is very noticeble, sometimes damage go through my block and also as my damage go trought the enemys block.
I don't speak about ballance, because there is no ballance in this game, some characters have a big advantage over others!
Nice game, nice idea, but still a lot of things to work on, and right now I get more and more frustrating with this game.

p.s It's actually 54% already, and I hope it will only go down more.
While a love the combat system, the major issue which are not addressed make me to quit with this game!

I would have rated PC For Honor game 4,5 / 5 (not 5 because interface is so terrible they clearly ported same interface to PC and the matchmaking system does not have a ranking system which is a must for competitive games.)

But my personal experience as an end-user is 2 / 5 at best because of constant connectivity errors. If the game doesnt work, it does not matter how awesome it would have been if it had worked. The moment it pops the error and drops me back to main menu, or better yet gets locked in a looking for host state where I have to Alt-F4; game becomes .. well simply not-working. I still gave it 2 because of story mode and 1v1 / 2v2 working till you encounter hackers (which do exist).

If i have 200mbps fibre connection that gives stable 40ms~ latency in any other online game, I expect the same connection quality of multiplayer from a $60 AAA title. They may have every sort of excuse why it is not working, and in the end of day it is not my problem, I paid for a product and I expect a working product. This is not a charity they provide or a free access game; this is a full priced multiplayer game.

The way I see it in its current not working condition %55 is quite fair and given due to the fact that everyone recognizes how awesome it would have been if it had worked without connection errors. Fairly if a finished product sold at full price does not work it immediately constitutes a %0 ranking. Story Mode and Duel/Brawl works (until you see hackers) so somewhere around %50 seems like fair so far. If everything work without any connection problems it would easily have had %90+ rating.

i think it's the most fun game available atm ; but let's be real.. you can't launch a game in the state this game was launched and let it go for 2 entire weeks before doing something about it.

    ofc negative energy will flow

i still have hopes, just based on the fact that i'm fully addicted to the combat system.

For Honor does have quite a few problems but its still a good game. If i trusted Steam reviews i would only play garbage indie titles with Very Positive rating.

I love the combat of this game but everything else... really everything else sucks .. Netcode, progression/reward system, crashes/bugs, poor map design , rushed game modes... could go on the list doesn't end. I honestly wonder if they will ever fix this mess , i myself doubt it.

The last game which was this broken and bad on release was Diablo 3 !
So GZ Ubi you have outdone yourself ...

Wish i could recommend this game to friends i truly like it but looking at it objectively you can just come to the conclusion that this is a terrible rushed product at this time. (barely playable online)

When the game first came out it had 40 000 people online then it droped to 20 000 now ubisoft removed the page where you can see how meny people ir online ! why ? coz now it droped to 10 000 if you look it up on steam people ir fast giving up on this game and i dont blame them ! will ubisoft ever give something back to the people that actualy payed for the gold edition ? NO waste of money i got the xp boost wich ticks away when im not in the game so when im at work or have other stuff to do is useles

Since the patch 1.03 is out, I play on PC and crash happens more ofter. Almost every 3-4 matches (doesn't matter what mode I'm playing), the game crashed wih frozen black screen. I had to end the process with Windows Task Manager then restart the game

There's no way an executive is going to look at that score and think "Hmm, that seems normal". Hopefully, they'll take the feedback into account and it will affect their future games.

Sadly, I don't think there's much that can be done now for For Honor, it's too late to make drastic changes to the matchmaking system such as implementing dedicated servers. Even if they decide they want to change it for For Honor, it's going to take many months for little payoff at the end.
You would think that a decent risk manager would have had a back up plan of dedicated servers in the back pocket, but no. I don't think the actual coding of that would have taken so much effort, but more a decision based on server costs. The money they are saving on that will make the books look good this year, but it is hurting them financially even more in the long run in terms of bad PR.
