First up to all those coming here to say 'no he doesn't'
He does that much damage that at no damage setting in practise he still does half a bar of damage with some of his attacks.
Then high level builds, forgive my french, **** on anyone who isn't high level. They one shot, and that's without revenge, I have 6 matches in a row where my gear score 45 warden (with full defence gear) would be one shot by 108 beserkers. Then my Lawbringer whom is also defence (gear score 108) would still be left with 1 bar after a non revenge hit.
Beserker is broken in terms of damage. He deals way to much in a very short space of time. Most spammers will just dodge heavy combo twice to kill characters.
That isn't balance.
I don't main warden, I main lawbringer, (and looking forward to the guardbreak nerf so spam lawbringers have their entire system destroyed) but also play Conqueror and WardenOriginally Posted by Mad4Gelo Go to original post
next time don't just read the title and then see I played as a warden and then assume from then on, reading helps
The zerker's damage is all he has going for him. I am surprised you manage to get hit by a berserker at all with the tools every character has and that he DOESN'T have.
Characters such as the Warden and the Warlord, hell even the Lawbringer have the means to initiate a form of aggression that isn't through parry or guardbreak, such as shoulder-bash/headbutt/shove and stuff. The assassins such as Orochi and Peacekeepers are compensated with some lightning fast attacks.
The Berserker? He has none of that, he needs to parry in order to have the hopes of hitting a decent opponent, and even then, his light attacks are nearly as slow as his heavies, he risks getting parried everytime he swings one of his axes, especially in a chain. Blocked zone attacks can be timed for a parry on one of the last hits. He can perform a 2 or 3 hits combo at best because of this and the last hit tends to end up coming from the top for maximum damage, and it's something on which you have all the time in the world to parry whether it comes from the top or the side.
Sidestep-attacks are nice, but it can bite you in the back times ten.
Actually he can switch attack zone faster than the lawbringer can switch his guard location, which makes it a struggleOriginally Posted by MrForz Go to original post
also, he has that unlimited combo, that uninterruptible leap attack and the exact same guard system as the other assassins
That's a problem with the Lawbringer/Shugoki/Raider, because you're going to struggle with all assassins, especially Peacekeepers.Originally Posted by SirAHarris Go to original post
Well. It's cool that the combo is unlimited. But it doesn't require Spideman's reflexes to block his damage and let him empty his stamina or attempt a parry when the tempo is right. Besides, you can perform an instant-shove after merely blocking an attack! If you can block or parry the PK's leap attack then you're able to block the Zerker's light leap attack, and parry the hell out of the heavy one. It's uninterruptible, but that only means that unless you were going to swing your weapon too as he leapt (kinda weird for a LB, isn't it?) it doesn't concern you at all gameplay wise.Originally Posted by SirAHarris Go to original post
I can confirm this statement. While I love playing berzerker, it's not at all easy on higher level games. You get parried if you dodge-attack, and that's the only way to feint lights (which is absolutely required with how people play turtle) the longest infinite chain I've had recently was 3-4 attacks hitting, and that was a godsend. Most of the time we're waiting for a parry to guardbreak and toss someone into a wall for a free overhead heavy, which is around 2 bars of HP, nothing overly fantastic. In Dominion with full gear, yeah, it'll chunk people for a whole lot, but it may as well be a heavy hit from a Raider with revenge popped and 108 gear. (That really, really hurts, by the way. Something like 120 damage)Originally Posted by MrForz Go to original post

Warden has the fastest guardswitch. Only thing that stops you is your reflexes. Guard switch is instant on this class.
oh yeah, no complaints on that there, its the damge thats insaneOriginally Posted by Gurkburk92 Go to original post
