    The new counter guardbreak timing

I've just found out that you can now spam the guardbreak button to match the counter guardbreak timing! It's awesome! I can now reliably counter guardbreak attempts 100% of the time! ^^ I feel like such a pro.
Now my only concern is the timing for parries. I find it even harder to catch than the previous counter guardbreak's timing. The thing is if you can parry, you can (in most cases) have a free guardbreak behind, so it's just as much important to be able to perform them reliably than it was to reliably perform counter guardbreaks. Please Ubi, fix this the same way. Make it so that we can spam the heavy attack button as soon as we see the enemy attacking us to match the parry timing!

You gotta be joking right? They need to fix Guardbreak again if that is the case...

Why do they. They reverted it back to the beta build where everyone was happy, but now here comes people like you who will still moan for a further change.

I dont moan. I dont know how was it in the beta cause i was such a noob a couldn't counter it anyway. I dont care how it is. I got used to it like it was now. But if this is like it was in the beta its even easier to counter...i thought they only fixed ut on pc but looks like its on ps4 as well..

Well, i'm still wondering if the window is the same as it was in beta or still the same as it was before the patch release.
    So, 2 cases ;
You can spamm it but window is lowered
You can spamm it and window is still long af

Guardbreak is messed up and it was messed up.

But for different reasons. On launch the issue was when both players initated guardbreak one would get the grab and the other would be stuffed.

Now the issue is "fixed" or rather it has a bandaid. You can still run into rarer situations of using gb roughly the same time and having one or the other getting the grab. Resulting in the best outcome on how to deal with GB to spam it nonstop. If you dont then you risk not getting a cgb if you used the gb at the same time. Feels clunky is akward and overall still sucks.

GB is the worst aspect of this game in my opinion, the conditions surrounding gb is just annoying. Not that it was impossible to use cgb at launch, and its still possible to get cgb easily.

But it feels like a terrible interaction because of the system determining who gets the grab and who has to cgb. Using a guardbreak is something you throw out to break the defence of an opponent, its also used when you see the oppertunity to use it. When both players see an oppertunity, it would just feel alot better to have a double executed gb result in a clash returhning both to neutral. Rather then the uncertanty/inconsistency of having a "random" result of who gets the grab.

It's amusing that in a game with so many classes and different weapons, the majority just tries to GB repeatedly and throw each other about.
Give GB a 30 second cool down or something. It shouldn't be the main attack of every class.

Can anyone tell, what exactly has changed with the guardbreak, please? I played only in the open beta, and I didnt know how to use guardbreak then.
And now, after this patch, I dont feel any difference.

I don't think they changed the timing for Counter Guard break per se. The issue they were trying to address were when both players try to offensively guard break eachother at roughly the same instant, One person, say player A, would win and get a guard break (I've heard some people say it was random and others say it had to do with classes and/or slight differences in who hit the button first), but because player B had just hit guard break once before they couldn't counter the guard break by hitting it again even if their timing was correct.

With the fix I believe basically you can try multiple times to counter a guard break. It was an annoying issue but that mechanic was there to prevent just mashing on the guard break button, which makes learning the actual timing unnecessary.

Yeah and i don't know why they removed this since when you're attacking slightly before ur opponent, he has no guard and you hit him. Same for Gb was logic
