Hi guys, Since the new patch I had the same problem. I was reading something about shutting off an antivirus somewhere, so I tried something. My computer is running on Windows 10 and using Avira free antivirus, so I shut down the Antivirus and opened the Windows Defender and I added For Honor into exclusions (click on "setting", when u open Windows Defender and search for exclusions, click on "add an exclusion", then click on "exclude a file" and search for "forhonor.exe" and add it). Then I played Dominion and the game was stable on 60 FPS, so I decided to start the antivirus, and played another 3 dominions and the game was still running fine at 60 FPS (occasionally dropped at 50).
In conclusion, I just added For Honor into Windows Defender´s exclusions.
I cant promise you, that it will work for you, but you can try it. It works for me.
Yeah my entire game drive is excluded so no, not working.Originally Posted by Pecindeles Go to original post
All my games are excluded but I'll try. This is unacceptable. No issues in open beta/release now I can' play. I have 100k in steel I purchased that I can't use now because I can' play for more than 5 minutes. I literally need to reload the game after every match or it will freeze.Originally Posted by Pecindeles Go to original post
The silence from Ubisoft is the worst part. No "were working on a fix" or even acknowledgement that this is "THEIR" fault. If this isn't fixed we need to work collectively to get our money back that they basically stole at this point.
I reported this on the first day of closed beta (26/01/2017), and I was expecting Ubisoft to patch it out but it looks like they patched it in for everyone else
Had no problems during the technical tests/alpha phases, but since I was getting this memory leak after 7mins in both closed beta and open beta I decided not to buy the game.
The fact that this has never been in the "Known Issues" sticky threads is almost as disheartening as the lack of a proper response to my support ticket (ref: 04164798 if any Ubi staff care).
I agree with you, but its not the developers fault they want this game to succeed lead game designer has a great passion for this project. It's the cancer surrounding them that forces the game to be pushed out unfinished to meet deadlines so that shareholders can be happy. They pushed out 3 games in last 6 months. You gotta start voting with your wallets friends and don't buy their games on release, but no one listens people are impulsive and just get sold by the marketers and when they see a shiny trailer "Ooo that's gonna be so good" (NOPE) and its why they wont change their business practice. This was my only game i bought on release by Ubisoft typically I wait until they get polished or I get it on sale from steam, but this time I got peer pressured by friends and caved in like an idiot lol. So ultimately we only have our selves to blame, all I can say is to learn from this and make better and smarter decisions when buying a video game.Originally Posted by Morlu1ca Go to original post![]()
