Is this thread even active anymore?!?!?!?!

Hello everyone is the issue actually fixed I've bought the game at the end of June and I have encountered the same issue as y'all that includes:black screen after round or match, sometimes playable dominion, singleplayer not playable, the only way to exit the game is by closing forhonor.exe through task manager ..............

I'm asking if this thread is dead and the issue is fixed or not cuz my game is still freezing also I'll try the unpn router thing as some people have been saying that it fixes the issue.

    Hi all,

I still have memory Leak. I opened a ticket on 21th November 2017 and still no fix!

I encountered this issue since the patch 1.15 (november patch), before the game was perfectly working.

8 giga RAM. But since November the game is broken !

Still waiting from the support a solution to fix the issue.

    Regards,

    Alkashi

How I fixed my memory leak problem.

Hey everyone, I tried a lot of things before, but this one finally did it. It's quite simple and I can at last play the game again.
Sorry if this was already tried, there are like 12 pages and it's 4 am here...

What I was I downloaded Cleanmem, and configured it to clear the memory and cahce every 1 minute.

    Here's the program I downloaded.
    http://www.pcwintech.com/cleanmem

Open "Cleanmem mini monitor", and right clicked on the bottom down small notification at the right corner.

Click on Monitor Settings, and then go to the Advanced Monitor tab and check those two boxes, this is how I set it up:

I haven't had the mem leaks ever since.

    Shame On You

It's been nearly 11 months since this thread has opened and people (including me) are still having memory leak issue
If as a big game company as you still couldn't fix an important issue which is effecting your players (like literally people have stopped playing For Honor for this very problem) i don't know what to say really
You should consider getting better IT employees or stop publishing games which you can not give support after the release
I have never seen a game company this irresponsible

http://www.pcwintech.com/cleanmem worked for me too. At least manually clearing the memory or cache (I don't actually have any drive caches enabled, but it still works) does. I notice that the memory leak seems to start at the faceoff/map loading screen. So, once you are loaded in you can just click to clear the memory. Not sure why the game isn't releasing memory (RAM) it is no longer using...http://prntscr.com/j33ve5

    Patch 1.22
    Patch 1.22.1

Seems to have fixed the issue for me, ...until they break it again.

Live Update 1.22.1 did not fix the issue

Sadly the patch/live update did not fix the issue for me. I still have the exact same problem that all my RAM is fully used by the game shortly after starting it.

Memory leak fixed for me, thank you !

    Hello!

I only wanted to thank the team for fixing that error that prevent me from playing the game since season 4 (I'm playing since the launch in 2017). It's been 4 days that I'm back playing and nothing went wrong, the game worked smoothly, just as before season 4 except that we're not kicked out from the game. So HUGE improvements !

I guess it's because of the live update on april 19 (https://forhonor.ubisoft.com/game/en...ve-update-1221) that the problem was fixed.

I was angry at the team and thought that you didn't care about our gaming experience but you proved me wrong. And thank you again for that.

It is a great game on several aspects, more balanced than ever (for casual gamers like me). I'm simply having fun

    Thank you
