I'd like to note that so far, all reports here as well as on Reddit were by players who are on Windows 10 (and its variants... One person was on Win8.1). Might help figure it out...

Is it possible to run this game in compatibility mode and run it as if it was operating on Win7?

Edit: Tried this, didn't work. Ran it in Compatibility Mode as Win7 and as Admin, still leaked.

I have 32 GB of memory and i still get memory leak to 99%. Nothing else affects my computer but after this patch the game just ****s the bed. Hopefully ubisoft will figure their **** out. Its one problem after another. People will only give so many chances

Just wanted to post more evidence,

I was just sitting in practice mode vs a bot for 10 minutes this time i wanted to try using mouse and keyboard. I ran into a beta form talking about the memory leak and someone mentioned deleting the xbox 360 control drivers seemed to fix it, but its not the case. I tried both Xbox and Ps4 controllers with no change, this time i kept watching the memory usage and it was fine the entire time soon as you reach certain time frame it rapidly wracks by around 3% or so per second.

Just so you know, you could have 500GB of RAM and still have the same issue.

It's annoying for sure because I personally have witnessed at least 15-20 games have memory leaks after patches and they were very, VERY rarely resolved by a "fix" we can do. Usually something the developer has to patch. Sadly we're talking about Ubisoft here, their response time and lack of sympathy for PC gamers is disconcerting.

Yeah, it's definitely time based. I had it happen mid game, at the start of a new game and waiting on matchmaking. All within the 5-8 minute mark.

Ubi I really hope you listen to our pleas. It seems alot of people are having this issue, and this needs to be fixed.
I've tried running a scan of malware bytes, anti-virus scan, restarting pc, updating all the drivers, deleting xbox 360 controller drivers, completely turning off anti-virus, verifying game data yet the issue still persists!

I've also created a support ticket so hopefully we'll get a resolution / hotfix soon.

Same problem here. Afraid to start up the game because I have no idea if this can damage my computer in any way.

You won't do any dmg to the PC but there's no point on trying to play until it's patched.

anyone else got this micro stuttering at the menu screen too? doesn't seem it has memory leak on my PC, only takes about 35-40% most of time

But I just got PC verison today, have played both alpha and beta and used to ran like dream, but now I got micro shutter even in the intro video
