Can not download the update | Forums

Hi I have been having a problem where I can launch the game but the update has not gone through and I cannot play once the game has launched, need to figure out how to get this update started. I have tried closing and reopening uplay, restarting the computer, but it is not working.

Edit: restarting pc and run uplay as admin fixed it.

Same problem, the server and networking issues associated with For Honor is completely indefensible at this point. Ubisoft has both the size and the know how to do better than this, and the fact that they aren't is truly discouraging me from pursuing future products of theirs.

Edit: Rebooting my PC and running Uplay as admin resolved this issue for me, but I still am disheartened how often I have to restart the applications For Honor & Uplay because they aren't better designed. I have to do it all the time matchmaking, and now even downloading a patch. I have come to approach these apps warily since its 50/50 or less that I won't have to restart them or even restart my PC, because they aren't more well coded and designed.

ANYONE WITH THIS PROBLEM!

Go into game install folder under the properties tab and delete the folder created called uplay_download

It will then let you start the download process over again!
