Just wanna make people aware that in early morning hours eastern time people are afking in games all over and they are tilting the joysticks to maintain activity to get experience. There are lots of dead games with 2 or 3 players just running in circles in the spawn. I take this as a form of boosting maybe and ubi you need to investigate and figure out a way to fix this. It is making matchmaking very displeasing!!!

I've actually yet to encounter this (though I don't doubt it's a thing). Is it only in AI games or something?

yes its only against bots and i don't see it as cheating

Not cheating,boosting. And it is frustrating to have to wait full time between matches since you have two player wait screens to go through. I enjoy the harder outnumbered experience but it's disrespectful to waste my time for your dumb*** exp boost.

In every other multiplayer game, where you join games and not play to gain Xp and rewards, its cheating. If they did not punish these behaviors in some way it would hurt the game in the long run. Give them a warning, they continue, ban them.

It really depends on if they are AFK? or you just think there AFK & where they are?A lot of players are not actually AFK
If they are in a control point A,B or C. Then they are getting 2 points per second for being there and keeping the 100 points for capturing said control point.
Of course they have to be actually defending it! But to me if they are doing this then its fine by me, they will actually get more points for the team than everyone else whos running around Killing enemies, which is definitely more fun, you only get 5 points a kill? Not the best tactic though!
The guides say stay on 2 control points,one player on each,defend them from being taken,the other 2 players kill the mobs/minions contested point,and any enemy players that try to take it.
So some players are actually playing the game as intended and not AFK,i do say SOME, there are people that do cheat i Know!

I have been seeing this all morning. I enjoy the player vs AI orders as I usually pick up a new hero and try out some new stuff but having lost every single dominion bot game because two people can't be everywhere at once is just frustrating.
And then there is the number of people who play that gamemode which is rather low, meaning you keep running into the same leeching "players".
I can't imagine how doing nothing is fun or even helpful in any way. Good, you gained enough renown to get heroic items so you can do nothing in style...
