Opportunists every single time. I would take an opportunist with less fighting skill over idiotic "Duelists" every single time.
These honorable people lack combat awareness and can't make strategic decision even if their virtual lives depended on it (as it often do).
Remember, in death match, always execute, always revive. Revive before boosts. If you are winning, guard bodies until they rot. Don't bother looking for the last dude if you are guarding three dead bodies. If you are two, then one of you go revive your own teammate while the other one stalls!!! Don't fight, just stall until the corpses rot. Push your mathematical advantage and stop acting like a bunch of thrill seekers... Play smart.
But.....but......I have to be honourable. I need to wait for my enemy to finish executing my buddy let him get health back then fight him fairly even though he has some revenge built up. Oh and I alo have to give him some breathing room first so he can recollect himself THEN we fight.
It's how we're supposed to play the game ok? If you don't play the game this with honor then you're not a very nice person and should cancel your per-order now.
Of course, being a nice, kind, sweet, peaceful, loving and fair person is the surest way to victory in life.Originally Posted by CoyoteXStarrk Go to original post
To be honest, people can do whatever they want within the rules border. Do they use cheats, hacks? No? Then leave them be. If you want to play the game your way, let people play their ways.
About the lack of "teamwork" in online games: It's not gonna happen. If you have ever played any competitive online games (Dota, CS, R6...), when you jumped into a public server and you rely on your teamates, you're gonna have a bad time. Solution: get a friend joined your group. The less randies you have, the better your game.

Take solace however you want. Deciding to abide by an 'honor' code may or may not be a reflection of what kind of person you are. I'm an opportunistic ganking ****weed in the game. This is my escape from tutoring special needs students with severe developmental disabilities, donating my weekends to animal shelters, and working hospice once or twice a year (all I can take emotionally). I tend to measure what kind of person I am by the way I treat people and the world around me outside of my escapist nerd fantasy life I create online, but sure, if you feel like a better person for adhering to a make-believe code in a make-believe game...go for it. Like I said, it could very well be an extension of a code you bring to the real world as well...just don't confuse the two.Originally Posted by CoyoteXStarrk Go to original post
Playing honourably generally improves your skill level faster than being a cheap ganking/ledge throwing loser. Sure, as you're learning you may get more wins with the underhanded tactics, but ranked isn't out yet, so anyone who cares about wins more than getting good is an idiot.
That applies more to brawl than elim and skirmish though. Those 4v4s are designed to be a no talent cluster****.
