    Panda Global 1v1 02/27 Recap

For everyone that missed this or is interestered what is going on with For Honor and e-sport i ll run down a few numbers for this tournament.

First and maybe only important info: A Warlord won in the finals!!! named: Petemoo vs KingRichard (Peacekeeper)

Its been 256 Attendees, the hero distribution, looked like this (rounded):
    Orochi 17%
    Warden 14%
    Nobushi 11%
    Peacekeeper 11%
    Conqueror 9%
    Warlord 9%
    Shugoki 5%
    Kensei 5%
    Valkyrie 5%
    Berzerker 4,5%
    Lawbringer 4,5%
    Raider 4,5%

When it went to the Ro32, there where no Lawbringer, Kensei or Orochi(!) left.
    In the Ro16 following Heros where left: 6xConqueror , 3xPeacekeeper, 3xWarlord , 3x Warden and 1 Shugoki
    Ro8: 1 Warden, 1 Warlord, 2 Peacekeeper and 4 Conqueror
    Ro4: 1 Warlord, 2 Peacekeeper and 1 Conqueror
Link to the grid ca be found here: https://smash.gg/tournament/panda-global-presents-war-rising-pc-for-honor-02-27/events/for-honor-1v1-1/brackets/123987

Overall this tournament showed that no hero was completly overpowered, but atm the Warlord seems to be on top, chased by Conqueror and Peacekeeper. Just because these 3 are able to play every matchup on even footage or with an advantage. To my surprise Orochi seems to be a realy bad Hero, while Raider, Berzerker and Valkyrie are not that bad at all.

Warlord's virtually unavoidable, intensely safe and braindead headbutt+damage is why. Just watch any match that is full-bore tryhard, Warlords just spam headbutts constantly and full-block anything even vaguely threatening.

    Snorelord wins again.

We really need more data, but listening to/watching the good players on Twitch, it's obvious the Top 4 (Conq, Snorelord, Warden & Shogoki) clearly have an advantage over the other characters.

The characters with free attacks/vortex/spam moves need work. Aesthetically it's boring watching one-dimensional repetitious fighting.

And furthermore, we need to look at how the evolving defensive meta is impacting on duels and brawls.

How Ubisoft react to this will probably impact differently on various characters.

I don't exactly see any evidence that Shugoki is a top 4 class. Heck, they haven't even won a tournament yet. I admit that Shugoki has some broken mechanics but they are certainly not top tier. If anything Peacekeeper is top 4 and will be buffed once Stab is fixed.

The only real surprise is how poorly Orochi did despite having the most entries. Still, we all knew Berserker, Raider and Valkyrie were towards the bottom already so hopefully Ubisoft buffs them or expands their movesets (at least Valk is getting hers tomorrow).

Just watch the match between me and Petemoo - I even warned Brandon the match would be boring and he shouldn't stream it. Multiple rounds go to the last 30 seconds.
