Hi guys.
I play a lot in AI mode, for different reason. And sometimes I go try myself in PvP and it goes pretty well however I have some questions regarding the AI.
How is the difficulty made ? Because I kinda have the feeling that the AI is just "cheating" it's way to raise it's level of "difficulty", let me explain what I think I see :
It is using total defense, even on character like oroshi who obviously don't have this feature. Most of the time when it blocks, it is not guarding the direction it is hitten, and the symbol of total defense is shown.
It is spaming insanly quickly the light attacks, dodge light etc somehow faster than you can do with the same character.
It spots you when it can't obviously see you (coming in the back, attacking from back when it's facing someone and it just turns around and block/pary)
Please note that this is simple questions, I'm fine with the difficulty of the AI even if sometimes it really feels like it decided to wreak havoc on your face. I just want to know if I'm correct and it's using this things to raise the difficulty or if it's just a feeling ...
The Ai doesn't cheat. All its attacks are the same as player attacks and it can only guard in one direction, unless the class has a multi-guard of course. That said, when you block you do gain all direction guard for (I believe) half a second. So it does show in Xv1s, though I don't recall seeing it in 1v1. I could just have a terrible memory though.
I'm not sure what you mean by "can't see". If you;re getting double teamed you can see the direction to use for external block and you can parry that external attack (which will make your character face that direction).
