is it just me or are the samurai arrows way and I mean way overpowered, it kills me in 1 shot, no matter which one is shooting them, they need to be nerfed big time, all they do is run around till they get one and then stay way away and shoot u, only way I get killed by one is an arrow which is no skill. NERF SAMURAI ARROWS!!!!!!!!!!

They actually take longer and are not in a single large area of effect like the catapult the knights get. They are much harder to use.
P.S. all tier 4 active attack feats 1 hit..
Is he talking about arrow storm or longbow? Cause arrow storm is the worst tier 4 out of the similar tier 4's from all the factions lol. The most easily avoided and inconsistent to use. It also does not always 1 shot like the catapult does. Longbow does good damage but is easily dodged unless you can't see them pull the bow. Javelin from valk does long bow damage but throws almost faster than zerker throwing axe lol.
Yes Longbow is OP damage-wise, but the balance depends entirely on the game mode. Longbow will do 80% of life, ignoring Revenge. The cast time is incredibly fast (like all projectiles) and can only be mitigated by a dodge. If you're not watching, and not idle ready to react, you're gonna eat it.
In Skirmish or Domination, this is fine. Going down in these game modes is largely inconsequential, and since it's not an execution you can also be revived. In Elimination however, the damage is to high. The reward for using it can easily turn the tide on a round, and lead to victory of the match. Once you obtain it, you get an instant LB attack at the beginning of every round. So yes, LB in Elimination is OP. In Skirmish or Domination, it's fine. It might turn the tide on an encounter, or engagement. But it won't account for a definite victory of an entire match like Elimination.
The tell is easier, even if not looking at the target (massive aoe red ring of doom), and the outer ring does less damage than the inner.Originally Posted by Zakmuffin Go to original post
That said, the reaction time is quite small for catapult and could use another half second or so cast time.
