    Feedback: HUD & AI

Based on my own experience and what I would like to see in/fixed for the final game whether when shipped or as a patch:

    HUD

MARKERS - These needs to be broken down i.e. Ammo/Intel/Skill Points/Enemies/Objectives. I would love to play with no HUD at all but for my skill level when I attempted this, I found it hard to locate some enemies with the drone and binos only and ended up dead more often than not. My preference would be to see where my team mates are, what item I have equipped and where the objective 'area' is on screen only. Locating intel, ammo, weapons, skill points etc can be done with no HUD as you have the help with your character saying as such when near and also with the shimmering effect of the items. When it comes to enemies, I like seeing them marked when using the binos and drone as it gives me the knowledge of the area they are in when surveilling the base but when not using the drone or binos, I would like not to see them marked. I say this as I don't see the characters having any tech with them which makes the enemies visible all the time when they have been marked nor being able to see their movements through objects such as walls. I mean, if they are behind an obstacle, the character should lose sight of them and not know where they have gone until line of sight has been made through the binos, drone or their own sight. This could also be true of the drone where when it has direct line of sight, the enemy is marked but when it loses line of sight of a previously marked enemy, it becomes a fuzz or haze of an area they were previously marked in. Basically, I just need the markings to help roughly locate where the enemies are.

Speaking of having the marker displayed for the objective 'area', I mean this as in knowing which way and how far the objective 'area' is on screen. By 'area' I mean where the mission area is not the exact location of what I need to destroy or steal to the millimetre. For instance with Polito's car in Itacua and destroying the mortar crates in Montyoc, once I got to the base, the objective arrows pointed directly to the car and 4 crates. I don't want it handed to me on plate and want to do some recon for my targets. I mean with regards to the car, the script of my character was for any of the team to shout when they saw it's location - scratch that, don't need to as I have an arrow directly over its location. You may say, "just turn the markers off" but without this I found myself constantly bringing up the tac map to make sure I'm going the right way and often found myself go too far especially when using a helo. This did not make the game or travelling an open world fun. I even tried the GRWHQ App but this is annoying also (not as much) as the screen does not follow you or adjust zoom when getting near (this would be cool if implemented). BTW I don't use the minimal as it clutters the screen and shows everything on it.

AMMO/WEAPONS - I don't need to see which weapons I have equipped or the ammo I have as I can see from which gun is in my hand or is left on my back but of course you do need to see which item you are about to through. I don't know about others, but without this showing in the HUD, I could be throwing a cucumber. So ideally to show more of the beautiful landscape, I would have weapons off but items on in the HUD.

BUG - With markers off, you cannot Sync Shot. I know this is showing on other threads already but wanted to add my weight behind it. Needs to be fixed which no doubt it will be.

I am all for less on the screen as it is a beautiful looking game but without certain markers showing it is difficult most of the time to know what the hell I am doing and on the other hand, makes combat too easy knowing the enemies every move so which is why it would be nice to customise the HUD to exactly what I require.

    AI

ENEMIES - Definitely need looking at. 1 shot missed with a suppressed gun = know exactly where I am even when in prone in grass. Seriously? End up just shooting to alert them and wait for the to come through to me i single file for me to mow down. Also, as soon as I get close it's as if they have a 6th sense and just turn instantly facing me - some field of vision that is! I like that they can actually see further ahead than most shooters as this is true to life but behind them.

TEAM - Use them very little TBH but when I do there are glitches. Sync Shots from impossible angles where they do not have line of sight in the slightest. Through rocks, mountains, they're down below, enemy up high on a mountain with no sight of each other, just wrong. They also seem to want to stand wherever they want with little regard for cover of keeping out of view when I am snaking up to a fence trying not to be seen. Needs tweaking. This has been going on for years in tactical shooters when there is a team and by now would of thought some developer would've nailed this.

All in all, I do like this game but with the above few tweaks, i will love it. Bring on PVP too and well, that's me done for a very long time.

Agree with your points regarding the hud.

We need the ability to be much more specific as to what is on or off with the hud.
