    Open World SP Socom

This game is awesome! It really takes me back to the SP campaign from Socom. I love sneaking around with stealth. Interrogating or extracting all while the enemy is totally unaware. Like a true ghost!

But like everything else, there are things I would love changed or at least considered:

    - The Camera
I understand the OTS is very popular but it decreases FOV . Wouldn't it be better to have a centered camera? Or at least the option? Additionally, it's too close. The un-aimed (no L2 depressed) is supposed to give us a panned out view of our surroundings. It really hard to maneuver and assess surroundings with this forced tunnel vision.

    - The AI Teammates
Unlike popular opinion, I intended to play this game offline. That being said, the team AI seem to do their own thing and it's hard to spot out what they're doing. Maybe I just haven't played enough or utilized them well, but I really just want one person. The other 2 make it seem like they'd just get themselves caught.

    - Deleting a character or a New Character
I didn't see an option. Is there one? Or would we have to delete our save file in our system/cloud data?

    - Customization
It's actually rather extensive. But it falls off in some areas. Like the pants and shoes. and maybe hair. Other than that, there is a healthy dose of camos and accessories. Also, the Ubiclub has knee pads but upon initial creation, I didn't even see knee pads as a selectable customization option.

    - Movement
The movement seems too loose. Like I want my character to make a hard stop but instead there's this extra animation to make the character stop "cool' rather than simply stop moving.

    - No Jump?
In an open world, this is integral. I already got stuck in a crevice. Jumping would have allowed me the opportunity to get out. In terms of application, it could be used with pressing X while holding X could be used to vault.

    - Controller Customization
This is always considered "difficult" by every studio I've ever interacted with. Personally, I don't get it. Most fear a player leaving out an input command but it wouldn't be left out if you make the customization a swap rather than an assign. I like my reload as R3 and a melee as a face button. I'd love the opportunity to change that to my play style :/

In the end there are way more positives to offset these and I'm still buying the game. I hope everyone else is having as much fun with it as I am!

Good post RaidenXS, I like your comments and agree with some of them. We are all hoping that the game with a few patches will get better. I'm sure UBI wants this title to last a long while.

    Thanks for a positive post.

The AI don't get detected unless you self mess up.
I had the AI running straight at me while i was sneaking behind a enemy. they didn't give a **** about the AI running at them head on.

An official response is that you can have up to 3 characters. If you can delete them i don't know but that should be a option. Time will tell.

This may be accurate on the difficulty you played at, but not on Extreme/the highest difficulty.

In multiple instances I was in a covered position, told my AI to regroup, and spotted. When trying to sneak up as a group, I am in cover going along a low wall and as I turn my camera to look at their progress, I find my team is literally walking out in the open. Figure, well...lets see how this goes. We continue on and as soon as the enemy looked our way we were spotted and in a firefight. Those are just two instances where I was trying to lead them in stealth. Other times they even get spotted when trying to get in position for a sync shot.

Either you ran into some buggy scenarios or it was on a lower difficulty setting - but the AI definitely get detected when they are out and about not trying to stick to cover.
