    Dynamic event

    Hi all,

I think there is threads enough about commun change the community is asking, but there is one point I didn't see or I missed up, it's the dynamic part of the open world.

Personally I've already bought the game but I'm a bit afraid of its lifetime after to have finished the story and the side quests..

That would be nice to add different kinds of dynamic event (beside the convoys) or to make Bolivia's experience more variable because in two days, I already felt the game repetitive, even in coop.

this game will be likfe mafia 3 - you do the same things over and over until you take down all the bosses.
if you dont like that concept - cancel the pre-order.
personally i like it. it will be a 7.0 game that will be criticized for its lack of story and mission variety but almost every sandbox game is as repetitive a this one and it all comes down to how much you enjoy the core mechanics.

that being said - i would LOOOOOVVVEEEEE it if there were random events like in Farcry 4 or Primal where there are search parties looking for the player, random (none mission based) convoys, skirmishes of SB vs Rebels etc etc. i love those little surprises in games, but very VERY few games do these kind of things. it's not like they would add longevity to the shelf life but they will improve the game by inserting surprises and unexpected challenges.

p.s. consider this game have about 20 regions. thats 10 times the content of the beta.

Definitely agree, buying this because of the mission quality and the AI. It seems even the same missions can be approachable and quite different every time you play them.

I played FarCry 4 also, I liked it but I think now, for a AAA game, the basic dynamic events system for this kind of game should be the base. They praised the immersive world they did and they did a very great work about Bolivia, but, anyway, something is missing. If you have prepared your mission correctly and if you take care about the details, your mission will always be successfully done. To take your words back, we will never have those 'surprises' which will force us to adapt our plan to the current situation, we can do the same mission, again and again, in the same manner.. That totally break the immersion, in my opinion.

    Considering the HUGE open world.
Its indeed a real shame that thoses guys didnt worked more on creating "dynamic" """procedural""" content - mission.

Its only a big hub with copy paste mission, that's really a shame since that game really look wonderfull. Look like thoses guys spend 3.5years to make the open world map, but spend only like 6little month for all the game system. That game feel just like a bare bone of a game.

Really too bad, looked fun & promissing.

Yes you can, but you're not supposed to force you to use a different approach, to have the choice. And the immersion is just f***ed up if you choose by yourself to use the harder manner while an easy solution is available..

    (Sorry for my bad english)

They managed to add randomly generated missions to The Division very late after initial release so maybe a DLC or patch later for the game?
