Yes I get you now RoyalLight, cheers. I just got that weird sensation "ohhh an online virgin" from reading your post.

But a fairly accurate account in your second post, and I agree

What an odd thing to say after defending such a trivial point. All multi-player games have spam emotes. Some people like it.Their xbox or whatever ,Their game ,they can do what they want.Personally I'm so used to it I barely notice. But I always assumed it was just little kids did it. Kinda makes sense. But to read an "adult" defends it with the old "grow up" dogma is,well, just um sad.

Please DO NOT get rid of the emote spam, it is so much fun. Salty kids will be always salty no matter what.

I wipe the floor with them and spam throughout the whole match so they get punished for their trending choice. I defeat them psychologically, too.

Please note this comes from a Conqueror who won 198 duels out of 217 since the release of the game, most matches being against Orochi, Peacekeeper, Berseker, Kensei and Nobushi. Add to that the Vikings who also try to throw you off the cliffs or bridges to the point they become so predictable and have no idea how to fight.

Have a good day, sir. (For your information, the QA submitted it but it was not acknowledged as a bug because the producers aren't butt-hurts, luckily).
Conq is one of those OP characters if played defensively. there is no way to open a conq up if he plays defensive and he will never die

    Not this again.

If emote spam really gets this far under your skin, take this as an opportunity to work on managing your own frustration. I'm almost positive it isn't the emote spam itself that frustrates, but what meaning people inject into the emote spam. At that point, it's no different than slow-walking away from a fight you've won, or using a full emote animation to sit down on someone you killed, and it can go as far as someone just standing still over your body after the fight. At the end of the day it's all just heightened by preconceived notions or being frustrated in the moment by something else.

Ubisoft has a lot of work to do on the game already that I don't think they should spend any time working on any sort of fix for something as trivial and player-controlled (both on the giving and receiving end) as this.

But I f*cking hate emote spamming.

The "huah!huah!huah!huah!huah!huah!huah!huah!huah!huah !huah!huah!huah!huah!huah!huah!huah!huah!huah!huah !" crap that some players do over your body after they beat you, or your allies do after they beat an enemy; it's just as annoying either way. Even more so if they have an Emote effect active so you get spammed with the noise from that too.

Yes, haha, it's hilarious that you can make it look like you're doing a pelvic thrust, well done, f*cking stop it.

A soft cooldown on the emote would be all that's needed. After initiating an emote, whether cancelled or not, you can't do another for, say, 2-3 seconds.
I saw another post on the suggested code of honour within For Honor... within that it suggests no spamming the emote. I don't think the emote was designed with the intention to spam so that it looks like you are masturbating over someones corpse. I must admit when I saw people do it at first it was funny... on the first day of play. Now its a bit old. Most mature people win and then just stand there and wait for the next round, I suspect it is either children or immature young adults that spam it. Equally though I guess mature adults wouldn't be bothered by it.

I think if Ubisoft want the game to be played with Honor, in the same way as the post of a code of Honor presents, then the simple solution would be to give give a cooldown as you suggested. Its an easy fix, if that is indeed what the developers want to do.

The irony of your post haha. "It's what everyone gets by using the same characters that require barely any skill to win and die against the most underpowered and one of the most difficult ones to use". Hahaha Funny

It's funny how some people want a honorable fight and still if they kill you they spam emotes...
