As I promised to update this post.
Starting steam today started a 400Mb update to Rainbow 6, once its was completed I logged into the game and the funds are now available, so I can consider this resolved in my case.
I sincerely hope that this error was brought about because of the update, however their Customer service still stinks, I still haven't received an email informing me that the error has been corrected (which was promised by the Customer Service agent)
I recommend to anyone that is still waiting on this issue to be resolved to make sure you get your support ticket escalated as there are still a few posts on here complaining about this issue that haven't followed up on the support ticket.
I'm still not sure whether I will buy ingame again, but before I do I'll be checking the this forum to see if the issue still around.

You said it was not an isolated thing which is completely true. I put stuff on the forum (I assume you saw it, it was a couple of days ago), and got no response other than other people saying it affected them too. I talked to Its_Epi on reddit and they just said:" Make sure they have proof of purchase." I contact support and get no response, the call line was also s*** and after ~30 minutes i gave up. It has been ~half a week and I have received no official response, other than Its_Epi whom I am sincerely grateful for because they must get it alot of it (but I still got no actual help as I put all Ubisoft details relating to the incident into the support email).
After the update I still don't have the credits.
Do you want to know the funny part? the automated email took half a day.
