F... all the moves ubisoft created for every heroes just wait for an attack parry it ,free guard break the enemy and get a free Heavy attack or unblockable attack (for some heroes) and win the fight. Seems every single one person I've fought during the last 2/3 weeks now do that all the time because its unstoppable. Is this normal ?
I've seen rumors about it. But no actual evidence. Can you provide?Originally Posted by Mad4Gelo Go to original post
Wait, debuff resistance effects recoil from parry? I thought it only reduced stun duration.Originally Posted by Mad4Gelo Go to original post
EDIT: Just checked, it doesn't. It only affects bleed, stun and lowered stamina(?). It has nothing to do with recovering from a parry.

Here is your proof, took me 18sec to check^^
But is is useless, it only works in 4v4 play where 2+ v 1 fights are rather the norm.
The game must be balanced without gear obviously...
As a Conqueror player (me) this is also my primary source of damage, only other options are ledging and throws into walls... (against palyers who know what they are doing...)
Well Im' going to play around on practice mode with that. to find out myself the video only shows a chart and countering GB. But no comparison of high resistance vs low resistance.Originally Posted by Taxxian Go to original post
I don't think a guard break guarantees a heavy usually only a light. Feints open people up that parry everything so that's one solution unless you are a conqueror then bash cancel I think is your best bet to open them up, I don't have much experience with conquers though.Originally Posted by Hyrtzic Go to original post
- Feint your attacks mid-chain to bait their parry, and destroy them for throwing out a laggy heavy attack
- Not every parry leads to a free GB. Some characters (Nobushi, LB, Kensei) have long range and can't be hit by a GB after their move is parried.
- This is one of the only universal combos in the game. There isn't anything wrong / broken with it because everyone can do it
- Accept that when someone reads you correctly and uses skill / timing, they deserve an advantage over you. This is called being outplayed.
Every single character in the game can GB to Side Heavy. It's a universal combo.Originally Posted by MynameisDonkey Go to original post
