I could give some little tips:
-When you walk by a cliff expect that the other player may grab you, ready your finger on your GB key. Srsly there's nothing easier then counter GB.(although i don't get why throwing you off a cliff is dishonorable)
-If you feel that other people gang bang you in 4v4 and play very scummy just go 1v1. It's the best mode and since the core of this game is dueling why in the love of **** do you play a mode that has NO CHANCE for a fair duel? It's like eating a piece of **** and be mad about it's taste...
To "For Honor", the title of the game: I always thought there was another way of reading it, like: There's no real goal in the war the factions are fighting. They don't fight for peace, for riches or for some ideology; so, it could be said that all the killing and horror is, best case, "For Honor", and not to accomplish something with "worth".
Lol honor. The most misconstrued, most misinterpreted buzzword concept being used as an excuse in this game and on this forum.
Fight with honor all you want. Lose with honor all you want. In the end it is just a word people use to justify their inability to be a good fighter in For Honor.
It is not inhonorable to use your surroundings in a fight. If you repeatedly get thrown off ledges, your perception of the surroundings and your positioning sucks. If you repeatedly get guard break spammed, your sense for distance and reaction time sucks. If you repeatedly get hitten by attacks, your dodging and defense sucks. The list is literally endless and very very few actual imbalancing problems aside, it is usually a matter of skill and the further your advance in this game, the more punishing becomes even the slightest oversight. That is what sets the differene between a good fighter and a bad fighter. Heck, I've even gotten complains from people to not fight properly for repeating the absolutely minuscule move set of the Conqueror again and again. They probably expected me to just stand there and get slaughtered. For their "honor". Lol.
You want to know what is actually without honor? Cheaters. Rage quitters who abuse networking connection failures to ruin the game for others. People like that. Not folks who just use what is in the game. If they are able to exploit perfectly indended mechanics and they ALWAYS work on YOU, YOU need to get GOOD. Not the other guy needs to dumb down his ability to fight you.
This is not real life and people who immerse themselves to the point where they cannot differentiate anymore that this is just a game and has certain mechanics that are there to be used (like 2 vs 2 or dominion and death matches always also set you up for ganking and multiple vs one fights) need to get a grip on life. You aren't defending any m'ladies in their castle towers from abominable dragons or ****. Get the hell out of here with that nonsense.
If you buy in the overly romanticized tales of grandeur and honor on the battlefield you need to study history more. The knight code existed as an ideal to life by but reality always supersedes the ideal fantasy. Wars were brutal. If warriors met on the battlefield it meant killing or be killed, not who died as the greater man. If you wanna die with honor, please do so but maybe think about not shoving down your world views down other people's throats while you are on your way over a cliff just because it is in the name of a computer game.
Damn this statement needs to be a STICKY! Spot on!It is not UNFAIR. It is perfectly fair. What is unfair is you calling them "dishonourable" as they did what on every god damn battlefield would be thought as "fair". Good players do not have problem with "balance" of any class, they see pros and cons of every single one. Good ones also know how to position themselves so they would be safe from ledge/spikes throw but are also good with CGB and predicting GB(punish by attack). Good players also know that anything beyond 1v1 is TEAM game. You need your team to win efficiently. That means ganking, reviving etc. Good players also know that it is possible for them to be ganked and so they have learned how to fight 1v2/3(4 is almost impossible). So yea, git gud mate. Cause you are whining about game mechanics. If in Tetris you would always miss T shaped block would you make petition to remove it from the game?Tommo
Bloody Hell & this!

Guys you need to get together and do a sticky for all the whiners out there who are the ones that are actually ruining the game!
I tried to get that damned sticky about Honor Code taken off! It just misleads people who dont read it fully! Or understand War & what its actually like there is NO Honor in War its about Survival, Period nothing else, very simple!
The game is called 'For Honor' NOT 'With Honor' totally different meaningsTommo
