people wishing others death "hang yourself" etc

so as in any game on the internet we have little (or big) offensive kids

I met them in many games already and I really don't take them too serious, but I still feel that who get to offense people should get taught some manners.
and it annoys me, that I can not report players who are offensive after the game cause they left ingame.
so what to do about this?

I took a screenshot and put it here ( cause I don't rly know where else in the forum) and maybe other people can share their expieriences aswell.

so I played against that shugoki which was level 10 or so, and I played my conq prestige 6.
after I killed him the first time in a pretty close fight he started complaining that the game is dumb putting us together in a duell cause I am 108 item level bla bla

I explained to him, that item level doesn't matter in duells and brawls and everyone has the same chances.
then he wen't rampage about me trying to inform him and told me it still was dumb cause I had clearly "more expierience" and that he will leave.

I told him that he never will get better if he drops every challenge he encounters and only fights people who are worse than him.
then he called me dumb and added the following:

he literally told me to kill myself because I beat him in a videogame? I mean, cmon ...
and I encountered atleast 4 or 5 people like this already in "For Honor"

anyway share your stories and tell me if there is a thread like this anywhere already. would to hear / see if Ubisoft will take care of people like him and probably change something with the report system

i usually just report them for griefing and pray that they review chat logs when reviewing the report

there's a process on the ubisoft website for properly reporting players who do stuff like this though

Unfortunately, this is what's "trendy" with the kids of today. I don't intend to go all SJW, but bullying is a thing that exists, and it shouldn't be tolerated either online or off.
I like your wording of being "taught manners", because that is clearly what these little cretins require. A feature to report consistently toxic comments should be put into place. With enough reports on a single person in a certain amount of time, that person's chatting feature should be disabled for a period of time.

first of all .. I KNEW IT WAS TAUGHT NOT TEACHED ... thx for correcting me in a passive polite way ... xD

and yes, we need a report system like in "League of Legends" or similiar games, where chatlogs get tracked etc

    Report systems rarely work.

Just deactivate chat (+voicechat) in options.

    Best feature ever!
It's so relaxing to play without any rants/flames/idiocy...
I wish there would be an option to hide bot names.
That would be the perfect immersion.

No " EZ, LUL, L2P, §%&"$§,="§$* UR MOM', etc etc"

Do you not see the irony of getting mad about some kid in a video game telling you to kill yourself when you think he's dumb for getting mad about a video game? I guess not, but other than that, you can turn text chat off. No, he shouldn't tell you to kill yourself, but it's also not Ubisoft's job to hold your hand and make sure your feelings don't get hurt.

If it really bugs you, do what you did and take a screen shot and make a support ticket or thread, which is what you did, but that's fking stupid because you can just turn off text chat and never see that stuff to begin with.

Sticks and stones can break your bones but words can never hurt you. This generation must not have been taught that. Sissies.

no my friend, I really do not care much about what he said, BUT I do care about manners. Internet or not manners are important to me and if that guy would say something like that to me in Reallife I would sit down and take a talk with him and if he doesn't wanna talk and get's to cocky, he'll probably gets a fist in the face. lul

no seriously, manners is what keeps people from doing whatever the heck they wan't, manners are important for the social life and the communication between human beeings, and if someone comes and acts too micky, he should get punished. https://youtu.be/OYa5aQb3YGE?t=1m
