This took less than 5 minutes to put together, could easily quadruple the evidence in a half hour as there are so many examples to pick from. No offence but just the stuff here absolutely shreds your statement that its only a hundred or so, of the same people.
And how many of those own the game? How many are normal anti ubisoft boys? How many petitions were signed on label "hey dude, sign this". Besides it is still 1/148 of discontent players(assuming 2k just for you:P) Sorry, me and my friends got no problem. Also those i meet online in a game show no problem with this.

Incredible display of cognitive dissonance. Just because you cant see a problem does not mean none exists.

"I don't have this problem, therefore no-one does"

    Nice reasoning there, mate.

And in the other corner we have Ubisoft with zero ****s given.

    Just sad.

Same to you. Just because you see problem it doesn't mean it exists. There is no proof that whole problem is created by some problem with your side than with ubisoft. Even if we assume 10% got those problems - THIS IS WITHIN NORMAL RANGE. Not exactly 2 sigma, but still. You can not prove it is problem of UBISOFT if there are people playing with different people. When you base it on "youtube likes", petitions and 2 month old reddit post then sorry but you lack evidence.

How many gamers have you even known to actually reply "hell yeah ok, id love to go do that" when asked to go out of their way to register & sign a petition that the dont care about!!?!! Most people dont even sign petitions they do care about. I havent even signed them yet. I think its totally safe to say there are more people that agree this P2P is trash but havent signed the petition, than there are people that just went around signing petitions that dont even apply to them.

"How many of those own the game?"; Well at least the 5000 steam reviews because you need to own the game, probably safe to say many of the 50,000 people that have given those negative reviews a thumbs up have done so because of similar experiences. I would say everyone that has actually gone out of their way to register and sign a petition is a fairy safe assumption too. Probably most of the reviewers, as it would be hard to write an article on a game you have never played, but who knows, maybe your right, there may be a hit piece or two just jumping on the bandwagon.

Not to mention statistically there is always a silent majority that reads the forums and is just waiting on the next patch. But your right, to hell with these 100,000 or so people, youre enjoying the game issue free so everyone elses problems are made up or something, ill go let them know...

    Weasel words and pure conjecture.

Indeed there must be some problem somewhere in the pipeline, but as every other program I use behaves and even other ubi games work fine then saying 'problems your end' is redundant.

100k with problems? Where? If the game would be unplayable for SO many people we wouldn't have so FEW responses.

Have you read those 5000 steam reviews? Does everyone post "it is unplayable"? Or "matchmaking sucks" etc. How many of those are legit and not wrote out of misguided anger towards difficult game mechanic(at least when you got paired with someone much better). You use words "probably", "safe assumption" without providing anything to back it up. You can't expect that thread from 2 month ago, is going to be determinant of how good the game works?

Silent majority works in politics. People usually don't like being scammed(just like you, it doesn't work for you so you are angry) but if that was the case we would see much larger force storming this forum and other places. There would be constant action, not just every couple hours from the same people.

Also, lots of people sign petitions online. Thats why they stopped working. No one care about results of those anymore.

Argumentum ad personam and onus probandi. I've stopped discussing with you as you do not provide me with any "argument" that would be rational.

Fair points. Glad you came round to conceding that there is problems, though faced only by a few comparatively speaking, that would justify them feeling like they have been "scammed" and of course therefore would wish to vent their frustration and 'anger' in the most appropriate place to do so. The forums.
