Fire them.
I am the pilot of my squads. If this is fixed I will buy this game. If this is not fixed WE will NOT buy this game. PERIOD.
NOTE: Please reference ANY Battlefield game for helicopter basics.
PS. In trying to "reinvent" the wheel you have come up with a square???

Got the hang of it eventually but it is kinda sucky. Hope it gets a revisit before launch.
The release is in nine days. None of the bugs or other issues will be addressed before release. Having a beta nine days before scheduled release is ridiculous. The game will be released full of the same bugs found in the beta.Originally Posted by Wizlon67 Go to original post
Gotta disagree. Fixed wing doesn't auto level. Its the view controls/auto center thats wack on all flying as well as no first person. The only thing fixed wing is missing is rudder control. Helo controls are so bad it automatically does all kinds of counter intuitive and dysfunctional motions. Its like they don't know how a helicopter works and they just made it up. Its not even simple or easy, its just bad and stupid. Better learn more complicated controls and be rewarded than learn stupidity with no rewarding outcome.Originally Posted by fixer7267 Go to original post
I'm not having much of an issue with the Heli controls on the XboxOne. I find if you gain a little altitude first, push up on the stick while holding RT. It goes forward, then lay off pushing up on the stick to about 50%. You still go forward at full speed but you dont nose dive. Pull back to increase altitude over mountains. What im overall saying is dont push full forward with full throttle and not expect to nose dive. Being easy on the controls gets better resorption from the Heli.
As for the Planes... not having rudder control is a great oversite. The planes are easy to fly but unrealistic when trying to land or do small course corrections.
I understand the fact that driving a helicopter or a aircraft is slower than expected, after all, the map is massive but not that much. On the other hand, I do think the flying controls desperately need to be revised. Driving a car is not a great experience, but it's ok, in my opinion. I played Watch Dogs, so I know how it goes. I'm careful and I play accordingly, which means that I don't try to throw myself off a cliff, every time I jump into a car. But the helicopter and the aircraft controls, need to be revised and quickly.
Perhaps no one at UBISOFT has ever played GTA Online. Adding rotation with the left and right bumpers would help so much.
I don't think the developers have ever played a computer game before like BF4. They are probably to poor and did what they thought was best. Please lets start a fund to buy Battlefield 4 games for the dev team so they can start to learn how to control Helicopters, planes and vehicles.
