Can't figure out to do deflect unblockable from above | Forums

So when a opponent is striking from above and i want to do the unlockable deflect attack im not sure on how to do it, do i dodge forward? cause when u want to do it on the right or left you dodge towards right if hes striking from right but i don't seem to get it when they're striking from above. i also wondered do i have to have the guard on the same position as im dodging to too? if so do i have to have a fresh CD on the block (not sure how to explain that one but when you move the mouse in guard mode you have 1-2 sec to block before you have to refresh and move the mouse again other wise you get hit even if the guard mode is on right position and hes striking from the right)

You have to dodge forward into the attack and no, you don't have to change your guard.
