I turned off my PC and went to bed just before the tournament at 5 seeing that it wasn't going to happen. I woke up at like 2 and came out to my desk to see that the outage was finally over. Rejoice! But alas, for me, no respite.

Any work arounds? I tried many things from the unable to start sticky here and none of them worked.
