I agree. If I get taken out by a ledge kill, I think to myself "What did I do wrong?".

I think they undermine the combat system. Rather than trying to actually beat your opponent, you can just wait for one mistake and 100-0 him, instead of having to contend with him adapting over the course of the fight.

If you guys want to be decent players, stop making excuses and blaming mechanic for your own shortcomings.
ur ****ing stupid dude....I counter guard breaks all time, thats why I win most of my matches. But the occasionally miss on environments like the bridge, it doesn't matter how good ur positioning is. Stop being an idiot scurb, the mechanic is obviously broken in a way. The reward is still to high for how easy it is to guard break.

Considering some of these maps have an environmental kill every few steps, positioning is often something you physically can't manage.

This game is For Honor, which means fighting 100% fair. You sound like a samurai.

If I ever play tennis against you, I will leap across the net and smash you to death over the head with the racket, and then say "if it's there, use it".

I think you still have to stick to the objectives of the game though?
Last time I checked, Tennis is not about brutally murdering your opponent.
I might actually watch Wimbledon if it was

Environmental kills are to combat like castration is to love making.

Environmental kills are extremely avoidable if you are aware of your surroundings. If you are near a lot of environmental dangers, and if you are back to any especially, you need to focus on light attacks primarily if you see a guard break coming, and if they go for a pushing unblockable move you only need to strafe.

Optimally if you dont want to die from environmental kills dont go to areas where you can die to them. Getting an enemy into position for an environmental kill usually requires me taking a few free hits, but its a viable strategy either way if the enemy is not prepared to get tossed off a ledge.
