We must focus on the Samurai, flatten the Dawn Empire, and claim The Myre for our own! Forget the Vikings for a few moments!

as long as it doesn't come at the cost of too much territory, focussing on one enemy at a time is a valid strategy. From what i understand, if you manage to conquor an enemy capital, they are eliminated from the round and you take ownership of ALL their remaining territories.
from that perspective though, right now we'd be closer to beating the vikings.
