[PS4]HELP!!!! Story Mode progression broken??? | Forums

Alright I just bought/downloaded the Deluxe edition for PS4 today. I've been playing for a couple hours and I'm really enjoying it. However, something really strange happened and idk if it was somehow my fault (or maybe I'm missing something completely obvious), but I CANNOT progress in story mode. When I got finished with chapter 1.4 of the knight story, and was ready to progress to 1.5 (when the narrator mentions the Peacekeeper), the screen took me back to the main menu. Upon reentering the "map" screen where it shows the locations of each chapter, I have no option but to replay chapter 1.1. I cannot move anywhere else past 1.1.

Wtf am I supposed to do??? Am I missing something here or is my game broken? Will I have to just replay every chapter I've already passed? I am really frustrated and need to know if I'm doing something wrong.

Ubisoft's servers are broken. Everything in this game is "online" even the campaign, so everything is broken. Yes, it is absurd. What were you thinking about Ubisoft? As if we could get into the campaign of another uninvited.

Same here...I've finished Chapter 1.4 (3 times now) it still puts me back there. I even un-installed the game and reinstalled it, verified files and.... nothing!!

I've been having story progression issues as well. Completed 1-5 and 1-6 and it resets to 1-4.

I can also confirm that i bought the starter edition on pc yesterday. I have progressed throughout the story fine till 1.4. I would complete the mission then proceed to the next one. I could get throughout the whole knight campaign then it would reset me back to the 1.4 mission. I would then complete it again and it would show i already did the other missions afterward. The most i was able to get through without it resetting me was 2.1. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey everyone, just wanted to jump in and also mention (since I see some of you are on PC) that there is a known issue with the story mode and PC starter edition. We're working on a fix for this and will hopefully have it solved pretty quickly. If you're on console, you're likely encountering a different issue. In either case, as mentioned by Ubisofttofu above, make sure you create a support case for the best help.

I thought it was fixed yesterday. I finished all the Knights chapter and it jumped to the Viking story, finished the first one and didn't let me proceed to the 2nd Viking story (didn't even show me it was available and bounced me back to Knights 1.4....
