    Question about reloading....

When you re-load an automatic rifle (or handgun for that matter) - if you don't completely empty the magazine, you do not need to chamber a round when you re-load.

UBI has this as realistic feature in Rainbow 6, so I am wondering why in this game every time the character puts a new magazine into the gun, he chambers a round?

In a fire fight, when seconds count, the action of pulling back the charging handle on every re-load takes up valuable time.....

I pointed this out recently as well. On top of incorrect reload animation for the 416.

wow, I thought I was the only one who cared about these sort of little things. I played the closed beta and I want to add, when you have one bullet left on your LMG, you still see the ammo belt as if you have 8 rounds or more.
When you empty your mag while ads, your character automatically goes through the reload animation but you still hear your gun fire a couple more shots.
Side missions where you have to secure a chopper for supplies. As soon as the enemy pilot goes in the chopper, it just lifts off right away, you don't even have time to shot the AI from the pilot seat.
During the open beta, i found another side mission you have to defend a broadcast equipment, I ready my team to defend the obvious (and only) way the enemy can come from, but turns out its like horde mode, they literally spawn a couple of meters around the objective. It really pulls you away from the world when they do stuff like that.

    Another small detail.

When you empty the MSR, the last casing is ejected before you reload. After you insert the new mag and you chamber a new round the casing is ejected again. This is obviously very minute and I am not sure if it is MSR specific. I've still had hours and hours of fun from the beta though. Definitely picking this game up.

Yeah, noticed that with the M40A5 as well. Not sure if the devs realise that just removes the bullet from the chamber

The reloads in this game show how pathetic the dev team are, in that something like reloads have been done so badly and just plain wrong. Especially when you play as an operator of sorts.
I made a thread about this back in the closed beta as well, i am glad more people have taken notice because it really needs to step up its game.
I mean, does Ubisoft Paris have any idea what a bolt release is? Did they get any input from anyone or pay attention to other games that do this right? It seriously annoys me that in a "tactical shooter" they get something so wrong. So very, very wrong

Same applies for the HTI. This game has pretty bad reload animations, even worse than fallout 3 I'd say
