HTF do I deal with Berzerkers?

As the title says. I've gotten around to dealing with Wardens, Orochi, pretty much everything on the battlefield. However these Berzerker neckbeards are really doing my head in since they (for some unfathomable reason) have hidden attack stance, fast and HARD HITTING attacks that are spammed with a stagger in place on every hit. Since they can't be predicted, and they don't seem to follow any rhyme or reason like the Orochi do, it's become a frustrating ****fest every time I encounter one.

I play as a Peacekeeper and obviously trading blows with them isn't a viable option, guard breaking them only manages to land an axe to the face, and most of my attacks are going to end up being blocked or parried at worst.

I can't give you a goto guide, because I have problems with berserkers as well. I can however mention what has upped my success rate from an abysmal 0.05 to around 0.7.

    1. Don't be aggressive. Be cool and defensive until you find the crack, then give everything you have. Berserkers are great at keeping up the pressure, but are frequently uncertain of what to do when the tables turn, especially against someone that doesn't jump around too much.

    2. Don't side-dodge until the attack. Berserkers have much better dodges than PKs for this matchup and will win most dodge-matches. Waiting until the very last minute (even deflecting) will help you immensely in breaking their spinning attacks and chains.

    3. Feinting a GB only has a 50% chance of working. That's right, you can get a dodge, but if the response is a spinning sidestep + face-axe you just feinted yourself into facial reconstructive surgery.

    4. Parries are nice, but I'm finding it difficult to get the spinning strikes correct. A dodge or a deflect will well for someone with my slower reflexes.

    5. A heavy attack just might be slow enough to catch them if they dodge too fast. I'm having quite a bit of success in using the 2xlight attack, then a single heavy (after the chain, not the L L H chain) because the heavy is so slow it catches them after the dodge. This doesn't always work though. To be safe you can always spam light attacks when you got your opening.

    Hope it helps.

Unfortunately that's been my go-to strategy for now, but if he even lands 1-hit on me which seems almost inevitable, I'm going to be in deep **** because of the stagger that prevents guard change.

Beserker is the worst class in the game in my opinion. All his attacks can easily be parried and he can even be punished by blocking a simple light attack... He has crap range for both attacks and GB, his leap attacks are telegraphed, his infinite chain can be stopped by blocking, but I would just parry it since it's so easy to do and he has no way of opening up opponents apart from feinting and hoping you fall for it.

He really offers nothing at high level play. A peace keeper is just a better version of the berserker since you have much faster attacks and more tools in your arsenal.

There's no hidden stance, it's just fast. I used to have a lot of trouble when I'd try block them, some heroes are slow at shifting their stance and the zerker could get off the light attacks before the switch went through. Now I just try and parry EVERYTHING they do. Worst case scenario you miss and still take the same amount of damage anyway.

    Second to the raider maybe.
