Hey warriors
First of all, i do not say this character is op or something.
I just do not know how to deal with those players, who are good at gb countering, blocking and parrying and who uses only top light and zone attack while playing warden.
My main character is orochi. All good players holds top block by default when fighting me, because my top attack is the fastest thing i can do and also quite dangerous. However, this is the only direction i can attack that quick.
I'm able to parry [probably] all attacks in this game, including piecekeeper light attacks, but warden has two extremely fast attacks from different directions. I can catch and parry any one of these attacks, but when a player keeps abusing both of them and does nothing else, then it is next to impossible to intentionally parry any of these attacks. Add good feints to this (left feint + zone attack from right) and i have no idea how to counter it even theoretically. It's not a problem in 4v4 matches as time matters there, but in 1v1 warden has enough time to kill me by using only these two attacks.
I know about stamina impact on this, but orochi has no abilities to drop opponent's stamina to make warden exhausted.
So, how do you deal with such wardens in 1v1?
If one of those attacks could be slowed down, the zone attack in particular, it would solve this issue.
I feel the same when facing orochi, spaming light attacks & dash light.
Orochiis in fact a Warden natural killer so I guess they were better than, which something happens usually to me xD but I try to do not get mad.
The problema is that a Warden is not going to play ofensive agains am Orochi, thats suicidal, you would try by using feints and GB and wait for a mistake. Your punishment is so great.
What kind of an orochi even uses dash light these days? It's all about top light and zone attack with an occasional GB. Warden can snipe an orochi with his own zone and top light, they're fairly evenly matched in poke potential imo.Originally Posted by ZEONesp Go to original post
You are absolutely right. No need to continue this topic. The guy is clearly just learning to play. Let's just get back to the Warden's problem.Originally Posted by Shinimas Go to original post
