Have you heard an AI lawbringer swing his weapon? He sounds like hes in pain.
Use a lawbringer against anyone who actually knows how to parry/CGB. Most people just dodge. He is a counter attacker yet his attacks are the most easy ones to counter in the game.
I have been playing lawbringer more and more recently, His damage is low for a heavy class like his but if you get your parries down and use his unblockables it will catch them off guard and get rid of their stamina, so he can win in high level play but my revised speculation is this. He cannot keep up with classes like the berserker and peacekeeper, and some of the wardens quick attacks. The stance change is too slow, his stamina is too low, and you can't get a proper punish off without running out of stamina and putting yourself in danger. He needs his stances to change faster, and he needs a damage boost, nothing too big, just to make punishes more rewarding, a possible stamina boost, and to make it so that he has some options after he does shove, because lets face it, and attack you do after shove is easily dodged, and ALL classes that have an unblockable shove get at least one free hit from it, i.e Valkyrie, conqueror, warden shoulder bash, we have no attack options after that.
Yeah, it's just straight up a sick joke that he's a "counter attacker" but he's one of the worst classes in the game to use to successfully connect parries because his guard changes position 4x slower than Warden.
Then most of his unique parry punish techniques only work if you parry a light attack. With the revelation that max debuff resist reduces hitstun to the point where you can tech GB's after being parried, I'm not sure if his heavy riposte/pike charge riposte even connect on lights against foes with max debuff resist.
His only strength is clubbing seals who are incapable of teching GB's by spamming GB>side heavy>shove>repeat
yeah other than shove and top light, you cant throw anything out without it being parried, his attack speed is ridiculous, and hit blocking sucks. think thats part of the problem, that it takes him so king to change stance between attacks, that it just give the other person way to much time to read it,
