You're probably completely right. How would anyone know, since they won't actually tell us anything? It's been nearly two weeks and we've had nothing but "we'll have more information on that later" for a change people have been desperate for since launch day.Originally Posted by King-Squish Go to original post
Yes. These little server-side updates are fine, but people are desperate for the actual patch. It's been 10 days since they gave us a "teaser" of the changes, during which time Guard Break spam continues to make the game genuinely uninjoyable for anyone who played the beta tests and they refuse to so much as give us an indication that it's still coming. That is frustrating.Originally Posted by Turric4n666 Go to original post
The game has very genuine, very real problems with the core gameplay and they won't comment on it at all. Don't misunderstand - I enjoy the game, I want it to succeed and I'm glad they're working on the matchmaking problems. But I want a lot more developer interaction with regards to the very blatant problems in the actual gameplay just now. My friends are moving to other games in frustration and that's a big problem for me. Everytime someone GBs them through an attack, or through their GB because the other guy has a faster animation, they are pretty justifiably pissed. And it's going to keep being a problem until they get it together and communicate with people about it.
And they just can say we hard work...Originally Posted by FredEx919 Go to original post

Part of why the patches will take a while is the consoles. All the changes have to be reviewed by Microsoft and Sony before the patches can go through on console. This game is going through pretty much the same things Star Wars Battlefront did. I also wish ubisoft was more open about what they're doing for the game, but it seems that community managers on the forums aren't allowed to release any info without permission. When you get posts that say "the devs are looking into it" the really the best the managers can give you without getting fired. Just a side note that you should be disappointed in ubisoft being so secretive and not take it out on the forum managers.
^ This, pair this with the working conditions ubisoft is NOTORIOUS for putting their employees under, and you have the potential for a slow patching cycle. Due to the faction wars being cross-platform the patches need to be revied for ps4/xb1 to not give any side with more players than pc an advantage by having a broken gamestate compared to another part.Originally Posted by Alchemist-21- Go to original post
But yeah, Ubi REALLY ****s on their employees: http://gingearstudio.com/why-i-quit-...job-at-ubisoft just one of many sources you will find online. So imagine having all this forum salt directed at you + your boss being a huge ****.
Basically, don't blame the developers, blame the devs bosses.
