UBI-This is what is wrong and right about this game

I know there are a lot of threads about the game thus far. I do feel UBI is reading some of the posts which is a good thing, as maybe some things that are adjustable can be changed. First off, I love the concept of the game. It does truly remind me of the original Ghost Recon. The idea of having an objective or an enemy compound and being able to use whatever approach you want is fantastic. Anyways heres a pro con list:

    PROS
-As a former Marine of 9 years, and having been around actual JSOC members, the customization is great. The look of the operators is on point to true life. I will never forget seeing my first Spec Ops team in Al Asad Iraq. They all looked like members of ZZ Top wearing random gear, but totally had a badass look to them. You definitely captured that.
-Like I said before, I love the open non-rail shooter feel to the game. Have an objective, use your imagination and execute to your desire.
-Weapons are great, I actually wanted to unlock some of the more powerful rifles. Especially love the weapon skin customization and accessories. Was not able to unlock the laser, also known as the PEQ-15. Hopefully it reflects the actual laser beam when viewed in night vision. Something most games often miss.
-Vehicle selection is good, love that you can fly and drive, as well as even hop in an apc. However, I will get into the negatives in the CONS below..
-The story is good, I like the cartel idea rather than some country vs country theme often portrayed. This a real world war going on today between drug cartels and the US.
-Game can be hard sometimes depending on difficulty. I love how in certain situations the enemy actually sends in reinforcements, which can be very daunting when your pinned down with enemies approaching and a gunshio above.
-I like the squad options such as sinc shot ect.. it could use some work to make it more seamless but it is still there whichgives you even more options when taking an enemy compound.
*Theres more, however I think the CONS need to be addressed more.

    CONS
-Vehicle control, the 4 wheeled vehicles are not bad but the view changes and the "driving on ice feeling" needs to be adjusted. Motorcycles are just crazy. You dont fall off and they are extremely hard to control. I went over a small ledge today and when I hit the ground I flew over the handlebars and then literally FLEW like a mile before hitting the ground and dying.
-Helicopters!? Why the heck does the helo control not have a strafe option? Make it like Battlefield or GTA, you should be able to turn and strafe in order to have full control.
-AI, I dont think its awful, but needs adjustment. Teammate AI is just weird. Half the time my team just wonders aimlessly sometimes shooting or sometimes just staying put. I often feel like i'm solo even though I am supposed to have 3 other operators backing me up. Enemies are not bad on higher difficulty, just need slight tweaking which has been mentioned in other posts.
-The overall feel of the game is off, it feels empty or hollow. There is too much space with not enough going on. There needs to be more random encounters and more options of things to do besides the go here do that premise which gets boring quickly.
-The game can feel very vague.. I just did not feel engaged in any way. I got the main point but here was no motivation. No storyline in the background to give a sense of purpose. Take Skyrim or GTA for example, HUGE world, but everything felt meaningful and wondering around was fun.
-The aiming system feels off. outdoors and long range feels good, but god, step inside a building and it's awful. If you encounter an enemy in CQB it can be hard to engage due to the delay in going from 3rd person to first. It can almost feel like the enemy always has a jump on you even if you see hime first. The game needs to feel like your a top tier operator, which should especially be true indoors.
-Cover, needs a cover system badly. Whatever is in place now does not work. We need to be able to press a button to get in full cover and shoot from cover.
I will add more as time goes on, but these were off the top of my head. There are more obvious CONS like some glitches and bugs such as game freezing ect.. But I assume UBI is on top of that.

Overall I totally get what the game is meant to be. An immersive sandbox tactical combat game. I can easily see the concept, but it seems like the devs got too wrapped up in the dialogue and making the world so HUGEE!!!... The size of the area your in doesn't matter; it is what you can do in the said area. It seems too big with not enough things going on. This so far is a game that can be fun for maybe a day or a week, but afterward be very boing very fast. There is a reason why GTA V has lasted so long and is still a bestseller. This game reminds me of a GTA style military game, but not even close to the level of Rockstar. As I play more I will add more. Not sold as to if I am buying this yet, which I thought was certain before I played the beta. I want to love this game so much because I love GTA style games, and I love tactical shooters. So much potential here.

    I agree

I agree to 100% of this, especially when he talks about the empty feeling in between missions. Playing with some buddies was fun but started losing its thrill about an hour in because its literally go here, kill these guys and grab that thing. DONE ok now go across the map and pretty much do the same thing. Helicopter needs a rehaul because my buddies swore I was on drugs while driving it until they drove it and realized it wasn't me, for the most part.

EDIT: After playing multiplayer, which I did after completing all missions in the beta, wow. The multiplayer is completely non-existent. For any player who doesnt have a squad of friends ready to play with mics it is utterly pointless. For a player like myself who jumps into matchmaking there is no sense of direction. It seems like "hey guys, lets do the mission I already did in singleplayer!"
When someone does they quit. Theres really no point in going into this too much. This is a single player game, which is fine, thought I wish it had more appeal playing online.

Come on guys, the game is called Ghost RECON. In between missions why not do Recon for your next mission?

For Example: If you have to kill or capture certain targets, go to this location and survey the area. Monitor the day & night patrol routes. Determine the locations of any generators, prisoners, or anti-air weapons. Locate all entry points and THEN devise your plan.

    -When will you go?
    -How will you approach?
    -What is everyone's role?
    -How will you get out?
-And most importantly. Plan B incase everything goes to sh*t.

This game is designed to be played from the perspective of the Ghosts. Anyone familiar with the GR franchise can appreciate what this game has to offer. Sure the devs have provided some crazy weapons and vehicles to go nuts with, but it's a stealth game at heart, NOT a run and gun CoD game. Playing like a Ghost is where the player will find the most enjoyment. This game isn't for everyone, but it offers something for everyone.

Totally agree with you in regards to the vehicle mechanics, plus maybe add an aiming marker for the helicopters ?? cuz its kinda hard to hit the target when you dont know where your aiming.

Just a few tweaks overall awesome game

I really like the game but I would like to make a couple of suggestions:
    1. When driving toward cars with lights on u can't see the heads lights on the vehicle until u almost pass them.
    2. Driving controls feel jerky.
    3. When bionackulars are out if u press Y should pull weapon out. Instead of having to press up to put them away. Then pressing Y to pull out weapon.
