I usually have no problem beating orochis, but recently encountered a good one. Finally.
The issue that I'm having is that a good Orochi player, excellent parries, guardblocks has a guaranteed chance of winning against the Nobushi, no?
Orochi's top light-attack is manageable, not the issue.
When the player changes stance to the top and does a zone attack, if the nobushi went up, she has NO chance of blocking the zone attack, and deals a fair amount of damage.
When the nobushi survives the zone hit, she has to defend (dodging will lead to a guardbreak). This is problematic, because the good Orochi player will just...not attack or faint.
Rinse and repeat. Infinite loop of dead Nobushis. Help.
P.S. I'm a Nobushi player
