Hello there, I just wanted to write a small and unprofessional review on the game as i experienced it over the past few hours i had in it.
To start out, i would say that this game is not made for COOP, tried it out with a pair of my friends and I really had a very hard time to find the fun in this game. When playing with friends that have no sense of strategy and tactics.. This game falls short in the sense that this game feels like Just Cause 3, but without the fun elements.. And this is where the multiplayer falls short. What is lacking (and i dont have any confirmation if it will be in the game) is Multiplayer where you can put people up against eachother called "Wild hunt" where people can squad up and hunt other people's squads or go Lone wolf and hunt people down.
I highly suggest this to be put in this game for it to have any purpose of multiplayer. COOP personally feels like it took the short straw (Unless you have highly tactical friends, wich i dont have, zombies)
SINGLE PLAYER
Just like with multiplayer i believe that if you play on any difficulty other then Extreme, You are gonna have a very hard time finding fun in this game. If you like "Run and gun", well yeah. But if you are like me and you enjoy highly strategic and tactical approach to the missions, Extreme is delivering on a high note. being extremely punishing at times where you mess up, and feels like a push over if you play it correctly. but thats usually the case for everything. the more you do things right, the easier it seems.
Forgetting my silencer for example is a misstake that you can pay highly for. Infiltrating a military base just to shoot a human in the face without a silencer just soon enough to find you and you're crew surrounded by enemy choppers, snipers and grunts with very slim chances of escaping since you are playing on Extreme and just a few bullets are enough to mean doom for you.
the choppyness is Shadowplay just so you are aware of it.

THE CREW
Ok so the crew you get in this game is one of the better crews i have seen in any games. They execute their orders flawlessy, crack jokes like a guy that have been trapped underground without sense of humor for years (wich makes sense since you theoretically don't exist) and does a very good job at being good company through out the game. I was very suprised over how well the team is, and how you can rely on them to actually do their job and not mess up.. For example if you play sneaky, they will play sneaky, if you go run and gun they will clear the camp and you dont have to babysit them or watch out for them to mess up for you. MOST of the time they seem to agree with you're decisions.. And they will clearly tell you information that are clear and focused so you know where exactly you can expect enemy to be. Personally i had really fun with the AI in this game, more so then i had with my friends wich is WEIRD. usually in most games the crew you get delievered does nothing but ruin the game experience for you and stuff.
But with greatness comes issues.
There was a specific mission in this game that my team didnt seem to like very much, and it was the CARL BOOKHART mission. I have a video below showcasing what exactly is happening and what is wrong. To give you a few words on what is happening, when i try to give them orders, they are running out of the mine and on top of the Mine to try to pinpoint the AI i assigned to them, but since they cant really lock on to them, they lock on for a second and unlock stright away because they actually do not have line of sight.
I am fine with my team having claustrophobia, but i need to rely on them in tight situations! And when my team is feeling uneasy and unable to Focus... Yeah the video shows what happens! Please officer assign me a team that also work well in dark situations! if you look at around 7 minutes into the video, focus on the map... Apparently they know how to teleport too! Wich is a further indication that they were no were near you, since they would have just simply ran to you.
This video also showchasing the fact that your team mates have no pressence when close to enemies... Wich makes sense IF it was at a bit of distance, but my team mate ran into a room and did not get shot at and all enemies will focus YOU And not your team... There have been a few times where my team have gone down... but it seems to be only when they are being my bullet sponges.
Conclusion
Personally i had a lot of fun playing this game on Single player, i found my team to be enjoyable company and i found the missions (as few as they were) to be highly rewarding when done correctly, and highly fun when i was punished for my misstakes (I wish i filmed my misstake) throughout the game i was occupied with small missions to do and jokes from my crew making it a packed with enjoyment between missions. The missions them self as it is early in the game I would say they make a lot of sense, you go in sneaky, take out a few enemies, get your report and you get out. I did mess up early wich ment that i got a early experience on what messing up actually did. and after that throughout the game i felt like i was threading on a thin line between getting unoticed out a live OR playing against the odds of a few choppers and snipers and leaving from the site in a coffin.
There is also places where You jump down from a building and you jump on top of a container thing, and you get stuck in the air unable to move. This needs to be fixed asap since i had to restart a mission 2-3 times jumping down from the same building (this seems to have been fixed as of writing this review since trying to recreate the bug that happend literally every time i jumped down from the building it doesnt happen anymore)
I would say that if you buy this game for the single player experience its well worth the money. for the COOP, probably not unless you have "highly tactical friends". Because this is not just cause3, and you are gonna have a hard time justify messing around in this game simply because there is not enough room for it. The reason i am gonna buy it, and i am probably not sure my opinion matter, is because you get highly attached to your crew. For example i was tabbing out for a second and suddenly i hear a bad joke in the background and it was one of the guys cracking one. this game might not be perfect. but its great enjoyment.
