    PSA to Kensei Players!

So I found a spreadsheet of the damages of all the characters' combos: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...Kgc/edit#gid=0

I really like GB into a side heavy as a finisher that allows for an execution for health regen in modes other than duel. I am coming from warden interested in mastering kensei and found something a bit peculiar. If you look at the graph's rows 22 and 23, you can find kensei's damage on his side heavy. His first side heavy is at a formidable 40 damage, which is great! That's almost two bars of damage! The second side heavy is only at 25. Kensei's GB initiates combos. This means that the damage after a guardbreak ISN'T the 40. Rather, it is only 25. This is only 5 more damage than a light attack.

So, if you land a GB as kensei, your best bet would be to light attack for 20 damage and then heavy attack with the chain finisher. You can then cancel it into a side to bait an opponent's parry to land the side heavy.

why you should use a light attack after a GB? The heavy does 25 damage (5 more than the light) and you still can follow it with the finisher. And soft cancel it into a side heavy or a dash. There is no reason to use a light.
