So obviously sometimes gb doesnt track after a parry. My question is, is this because of range? Does it depend on their location prior to the attack? I know certain characters like Nobushi and Kensei you generally can't gb after a parry, but it seems to happen occasionally with everyone. It's a bit annoying because there's really no other guarantee after a parry other than the GB.

^^ It always works super easy, except for these 4 high range chars. You need to know what options you got vs these. As an example, vs Nobushi, if you parried one of her light attacks, you get a free side heavy attack. Another example vs nobushi, valky can get a gb, you just have to dodge into her, this needs to be done realy quick.
For your own Hero you need to learn how to handle this, classic beat em up matchup knowledge.
I suggest to test everything vs bots lvl2 for yourself.
