Survival 2 Hunters Spawning on calling extraction | Forums

Has anyone else experienced this? I have been playing survival for a couple of months now and usually extract in dz03, except today I called in an extraction as the last player on the server, 2 Hunters spawned, did the same thing again this evening, 2 Hunters spawned immediately, I don't think it's a case of someone lurking given it happened straight away on both occasions, anyone else had this?

I haven't but my friend was telling me about his last Survival game before the last server maintenance, said him and like 6 other guys were fighting off what felt like 9 Hunters at the extraction someone called. Said he held out as long as he could and revived 4 people before giving up because the server was shutting down in a few minutes and a bunch of hunters were still alive.

We also had another instance doing a duo and we call the extraction in in DZ5 and went north to hold them off at instead of the usually spot south of the extract, and 6 hunters spawned, as 2 other players were close by. We were able to take them out but man it got hairy, basically got saved by the subway entrance as I rolled in there with a like hundredth of my health left, as my buddy crawls after me down the stairs (he got down like 5 seconds before I got melted lol)

We ended up fighting our way through the subway (ran into an elite fatty and a bunch of purples) then managed to fight the hunters off with the other 2 guys that showed up. Weirdest part is that every land mark was clear and the other 2 guys didn't board the helicopter. Hardest 16 Survival Caches we earned that day for sure lol

You get one hunter for every person near the extraction. So the was prob another hiding somewhere near the extract.

Yes I am aware of that, as I said, the first time it happened yesterday I was the last remaining agent in the game, the second time there were 2 other players left and I didn't see anyone so I don't think it's that.

Could be the first hunter was left lurking after another player had called an earlier extraction and either died or left without killing the hunter. The hunters do seem to respawn after time, but it seems a bit random as to how long.

Yah, cleared the mid extraction from 3 hunters once. They do stay around if others die and such, and as the 3 area is quite big, maybe you just missed him going in. Never had 2 hunters spawn on me, and I am doing survival quite often.
