That is so true, probably I misunderstood. I was waiting a RPG/Shooter in this game too. That is what bother me more. The other problem I found in Ghost Recon Wildlands is that you need a group of friends that want to play all the game with you. The matchmaking sucks.Originally Posted by Tosa-san_HUN Go to original post
I don't think they are all that comparable other than they are both shooters of a sort. Wildlands AI is way too broken at the moment, I doubt that will be addressed much come launch but even if it is the terrible bullet drop nonsense and the brainless repetitive missions will never hold my interest long enough to justify throwing money at it.
At this point The Division couldn't be any more repetitive and boring for me but it took me the better part of a mostly fun year to get here so its not a bad thing. There is no way Wildlands will ever be able to come close to that, the Division offers a deeper RPGish experience which I think for most its a game you either love or hate so I can see why anyone here wold prefer The Division game play over the simplistic game play of Wildlands.
Lol these games are entirely different. Oh wildlands is repetitive and has no long term appeal lol. Whats Division offer, oh you know just playing Lexington again and again for the 100th time in an all scripted gameplay.
People have this thing in their mind that Division offers some sort of long term gameplay but in reality it doesn't. Once you min max your character which literally happens in very little time cause of how loot just rains down what do you do then? There's no long term game play in division people just think there is because they see loot fall everytime they play a mission. But in the end Division has very little variety in loot so therefore 90% of the loot you get is always the same thing every single time, reckless vigorous chestplate nimble holster savage astute gloves etc... There's no variety in loot so therefore it makes grinding endless amounts pointless since you're always going to pretty much get the same stuff everytime.
If you have no problem running Lexington over and over where its scripted then whats the problem with running missions over again in wildlands where at least they're different with each replay do to the different ways you can approach a mission. And it offers a real challenge and is a lot more punishing. When your low on health you need to fall back and get to cover since you can't just pop your super then your first aid followed by a med kit in a span of 3 seconds.
Wildlands has real group coordination telling group member A takes target 1, Group member B take target 2. Divisions teamplay is all 4 people with their 60 round extended magazine to spray their mags into one guy.Theres no running and gunning in Wildlands like you do in Division you actually need to use cover and flank tactics to take the guys out if you sit back for to long they end up pushing in on you and flanking you. .
Does wildlands have its problems yes but people need to stop acting like its one of the worst game because its far from that.
Ha ha ha, sounds like me except every time I turn on the Xbone I end up in General Assembly going after them damn holsters instead of trying out I'm Still Alive which I downloaded ages ago when it was on Gold.Originally Posted by WOB240214 Go to original post
The genuinely frustrating thibg is that, if you combined GR: Wildlands and The Division, you would have one absolutely incredible game. Wildlands needs the cover system from this game SO badly and this game needs the character customisation of Wildlands. There's a few other things the games could (and should) borrow from each other, but I won't get into it right now.
That is a problem to me. If you don't have 3 friends that want to play from beginning to end with you, you are screw up. The matchmaking is a problem to me because you go to a open world. The open beta has just two region and rarely my group coordinates to do a mission, everyone plays a different mision and it is a waste of time. Does this thing happen only to me?Originally Posted by KungFooCat Go to original post
