While the lawbringer can be powerful, he has a very high risk, low reward playstyle. Here are my ideas for adjustments:
As he is supposed to be the king of parries, his kit should suggest that, I propose, that, as he low stamina, a parry may reward him with a small stamina reduction for a small period of time, or a small percentage of stamina per parry. Furthermore, the Warden has a has a better rewarding parry than the lawbringer, as the warden gets a free guardbreak against every character except for hybrids each parry he achieves, I propose that the Lawbringer also have that as he is the parry character, and at the time of writing this, can only get a free guardbreak on assassins. Differing guard switch speed for characters is a bad idea, as it makes characters such as the lawbringer and raider helpless against the R1's of the peacekeeper, this compounded with the Michael Jackson slides of attacks, make differing guard switch speed a mechanic that should be done away with.
Anyone's thought on my ideas? I will gladly elaborate my thoughts further if anyone has questions.
I suppose that could work, however, that doesn't solve the problem of the fact the he is the most parry heavy character in the game, with some of the weakest parries.Originally Posted by Demi.God Go to original post
His heavies are just so ******ed slow that he is unable to capitalize on any opening that he may achieve. I just threw someone over my shoulder to the ground with a Long Arm, but his heavy takes so long to wind up they are already standing and parrying it when it finally connects. Plus the fact that I can't remember the last time someone didn't dodge the parry into top heavy unblockable. Pretty much to play LB you have to hope your opponent makes a mistake, you can't really make your own way to victory.
