    Hello Ubi-KitKoumal,

This feature isn't made to convince it's made to entertain & it fails greatly because it's in the form of a copycat. Thanks for your thoughts.

    Cheers,

Agreed, she is horrible, but tbh, all of the voice acting in this game is pretty bad. I mean, In particular, all the encounters where you have to go speak to a rebel are so god awful bad it's almost funny.

in general, it just sounds like a bunch of people standing there reading lines in monotone voices. No effort or emotion whatsoever.

Did- did you just say "special forces" and "professionalism"? Looooool.

Vets and fellow active duty will tell you the truth. The only military personnel that don't curse are the office jockies of each branch such as finance and medical... you pog...

I actually like her better than the male character though. The Sandoval confession and Carzita capture dialogue were some of my favorite examples. I will definitely agree that the overall voicing could have been better.

War games or soldier games never get good acting because there isn't a great or good story need both can't have one without the other.

She's better and have more tone and emotion in her voice. The male voice is just flat.

Of course some of the lines are cheesy and the voice actor and actress just can't pull it out, for example when threatening the lieutenant.

Otherwise, I love the voice; it's a cute voice. Fits my female Ghost's look.

I don't know if you opted to choose the most ugliest face with face scars and horrible tattoos and facepaint to be a try-hard badass, but yes, I can see the default voice wouldn't be suitable for that fashion.

And ffs, what's up with the necro thread habit lately to reply something that written months ago??

As for soldiers talking non emotionally while on the job, it reminds me of the old saying "I'll sleep when I'm dead". Meaning after you've taken enemy fire long enough, the only time you can loosen up is when you're far away from it, and even then many go through at least some level of PTSD when they get home. I thought male Nomad was fine, and enjoyed much of the banter between he and his squad. I've only seen female Nomad briefly in a few vids, and always talking tactically while on a mission.

Yeah she sounds a bit robotic, but when you think about the extraordinary type of woman it takes to get to that position among a lot of tough men, they aren't probably going to be the type that talk like regular women. More like tough tom boys that don't like being stereotyped. You add that to a position of command, and it tends to come out robotic. I do feel a lot of the rebel and civilian voices were a bit non professional, but that is fairly common in a lot of games anymore.

For me she sounds like she is reading from a page and not making it sound 'her', like spontaneous conversation. I also find the three amigos with you all sound the exact same so I have no idea which one is talking at any given time. I also find the voice of the male character to be a little unemotional. Especially when you drive a car off a cliff, roll it several times and he gives out an emotionless "Crapballs".

That said the voice acting is the LEAST of the problems with this game. And yet another thing that will never see any kind of treatment, not that I would ever expect a game to redo their voices.
