Drop "Sharpening" to zero for better visual quality.

I just want to recommend everyone to put the setting "Sharpening" in Video settings on 0% for better visual quality. Additional Sharpening is never a good thing, just play on your native resolution.

Why would I do that if you don't even bother to post screenshots to show how it's better?

Because you could make the change and compare it for yourself in about 10 seconds which would be better than any screenshot.

It's funny you posted this only yesterday I did the same thing and searched for some best quality TV settings and they also recommended to turn sharpness to 0, I currently have it on 65. So I turned it down to 0 and wasn't impressed at all made the graphics look very bland so went back to my initial settings. Each to their own though but for me the game looks alot better with some sharpness whether that be from in game settings or your tvs.

I could... but I wont. He told everyone to do it... he needs to not be lazy and show why.

He "recommends" it. That is not the same as telling people to do it. Visual appeal is personal. He gave his recommendation. Even if he provided screenshots he could look at them and say "see how much better it looks" and you could look at it and say "that is junk".

It is best for each to try things for themselves. He is just offering a recommendation.

I for one will try it when I get home and see if I appreciate a difference and if I like it.

I tried it and didn't love it. In fact, it was set at 35 and I ended up bumping it up to 50. It might be good for others, though.

Another factor to consider is that some monitors have sharpening too. People should just play with whatever sharpening/level detail looks good to them personally. I'm more concerned with the games actual performance/optimization which needs some work.
