just give us an exp bonus based on our prestige score.
that way we dont get that daunting feeling when we want to start leveling a new character and see the huge gap between it and the one we played before.
and this would actually feel like getting a reward for the time we spent in the game instead of feeling like things are kept from us before we reach prestige x, like with the gear.

That's the reward you get.
