I appreciate that as a company u still allow to play the game before u buy alot of things are wrong with this game..
moving cars stop in front of u and dont kill u
vehicles u ride in like tractor can roll down the cliff and the occupants stay in the vehicle make it all the way down and no damage to occupant or vehice
u can fall off a cliff and just roll the whole way down no damage or death
graphics are horrible
u guys need to postpone this game and fix the whole thing
Whilst this game is far from great a couple of things I don't agree with in your post are that the game actually looks really good on my ps4 pro and Samsung ks7500, what platform are you playing on? And secondly I have died many a times from falling off a cliff so whether it's random I don't know but it definitely can happen.
Ill admit this game isn't no where near as good as I was expecting that said I'm getting the gold edition just for something different to play now n then.
1. Actions like interrogating and capturing data doesn't always show you the next options - like to find rebel points or vehicles on my PC.
2. You can accidently walk into get your targets and friends can shoot them ending the mission. They should have more health when they are say behind bars.
3. The freezing of the animation has occurred multiple times so far (Like with my first example) but also with throwing a grenade. I had to die to get my movement back. I was just stuck in the "throwing grenade animation"
4. Overall minor graphics bugs like enemy getting trapped in the "helicopter box" and trying to run away but seeming to be glued to his "Vehicle Spawn"
5. Along with the graphics bugs, I found that enemy can sometimes shoot and track-shoot you through the stone or brick walls. Which is silly when you can not shoot back-in my experience.
Again on my PC the came looks a lot better... using the recommended CPU and have a 1070. Even at Ultra settings, the game is about 50fps
No need to postpone the release as the bugs are few and when fixed will make a fun-friend game. If my five bugs were fixed I would think the game was solid. Some cars actually do run you over and kill you. I even saw an enemy run out after me in the street and get kill/run over by a car.which was super funny. Falling off a cliff has actually killed me and my friends in the past. So maybe there is some bug with this dude's place he tried falling from that made him not die. One thing I can agree/confirm with this original post is his third sentence. Only thing is that motorcycles can fling you off if you hit a big rock in the right place and you fall off and "need reviving" (which I think is at least fair there) I did think that the rolling over a couple times would net a death or at least make the car unusable.
A post like this one is to be expected as this is a beta test and everyone can try the game and everyone will experience/enjoy the game in a different manner. It always helps if you say what system you are playing the game on (PC/Console). I play this game on a PC (for the record).Originally Posted by REDCOBRABSR Go to original post
Although I do agree with some of your dislikes, I will start by saying that on PC with a somewhat decent system, the visuals in this game are amazing. The weather, the scenery, how dust is flying all around you when you are boarding and jumping off a chopper, visually this game is up there with the best of them.
Me and my buddies are playing on extreme difficulty with no hud. In the new area we can access, there are some serious fights there and they definitely offer more of a challenge than the first part we had access to in the most recent closed beta. I no longer have concerns about the difficulty level of the game as we can pretty much customize the game to the degree of difficulty we want. The option they have to customize your hud is great.
When we wanted to take a break from doing missions, we were cliff diving, having a blast. In it's current state, I have no issues recommending this game knowing full well that there is still some work needs to be done.
- The AI definitely can use some work, if you step in-front of a car it should hit you or just try to swerve out of the way.
- Overhaul of the chopper controls needs to happen at some point in time
- Physics for terrain vehicle needs to be tweaked, need more suspension, collisions to terrain needs to do more damage,
- Task Force AI needs some work, they just don't listen! (at this point, mostly just useful as a medic in case you die)
- Dead bodies disappear to quickly
- The HUD (and it is my understanding the difficulty level also) in COOP mode is set individually, this should be controlled by the host.
It would also be nice to see some patch notes (I have yet to find the ones for the open beta) and more communication from he Developers. The only thing we see now is tons of publicity for the game, but the people already invested in the game hear very little about coming changes to the current state of the game (if any). Just something saying they acknowledge some of the issues and plans they have to address. But this would be for a whole other topic.
Overall, I am enjoying the game, which is what matters for me. I have seen nothing that will be a deal breaker for me yet.
Hello to all of you guys,
thank you very much for participating in the Beta, we're sorry to hear that some of you are not quite happy with this Beta but some other are quite enjoying themselves. A gaming experience is definitely a personal one.
Thanks to all of us at least for taking the time to write your feedback to us.
Cheers,
Kitkoumal
1. I believe this is intended. I'll explain. Each region has I believe 6 categories of "intel": rebel ops, weapons/parts, supply runs, skill pts, and one other I can't recall. Once you get the intel on those things, interrogating has no further effect in the region unless it is story driven.Originally Posted by TheiPhoneRebel Go to original post
2. Do you mean the AI friends? If so, then yes, it should be handled a bit better. If real people, then they need to be less trigger happy.
3. Haven't experienced this in CB or OB so not sure.
4. See #3
5. This is definitely an odd issue and I have seen it a few times as well, however, it is most noticeable with your own AI and the sync shot. As someone else pointed out, they don't even need LOS to pull of their shots as it will "just work". The only time they lose "sight" of targets is if they go under a roof of something, even if it is a large tent/tarp area with clear LOS, they still "lose" them.
I've been run over a few times by cars so I know it can happen hehe. Falling off cliffs and such is indeed random and weird at times.
