Sorry to break the news to you, but an XBOX one controller is no better. Also, I wouldn't spend the money on an Elite controller. It has a terrible flaw with the bumper buttons where they are extremely likely to break. Check the one star reviews on Amazon.

There are times where my input is flat out ignored. It is indeed a frustrating experience.

It's not my PC, internet connection, or router. The game just ignores my input at times. I'm sure it has something to do with the way they run their P2P simulation....

the problem is that ubisoft cannot make a decent server to save their lives try to play the division where you unload an entire clip into someone they take no dmg then they are looking the opposite way you are then you drop from full to 0 no matter what you do for this game you will always have to deal with lag issues ubisoft server developers are legit brain dead

I saw that. I am getting a custom built one with custom bumpers, so hopefully I won't run into any quality issues =).

Did you know that their P2P simulation adds a massive amount of latency? The net code is being analyzed. Check out a youtube video. Guy says that there is 115 ms of latency between two computers with a 1 ms ping that are sitting next to each other. This is resoundingly bad net code =P.

They do break easily, but are amazing controllers. I bought mine from best buy and paid the extra $20 for the two year insurance. Great investment. I bought it specifically for Elite: Dangerous but use it for other games as well. I feel like it's already paid for itself.

Well, the good news is that there is a MS app in the windows store that will allow you to remap your buttons. It only works with the Elite controllers though so I am SoL.

If there are times when your input is ignored, why do you bother playing the game right now?

When it repeatedly happens to me, it makes me want to uninstall the game and uplay.

This forum error. I swear. I can't even tell what works better.. their buggy craptastic website or their buggy craptastic P2P simulation. One thing is definitely true. None of it is working.
