Hi all
So am planning to level one character from each faction and gear it up.
Just to mix things up a bit and have fun, because damn this game is fun!
Atm I already have a prestige 3 Peacekeeper sitting at item lv 95 and is a work in progress.
I have no experience with the other 2 factions, there for am hoping to get some suggestions from the community.
• Knights: Check - Peacekeeper
• Vikings: Suggestions needed ( personal preference based on the limited time I played this faction - Warlord, Valkyrie)
• Samurai: Suggestions needed ( personal preference based on the limited time I played this faction - kensei, nobushi)
What do I find important: Overall strength, good duel potency, fun, different combos possible, good for ranking in a later stag, COOL LOOKING hero![]()
My personal opinion:
Warlord - greate overall, great defence, all heavy attack cant be interrupt, what mean he can go with heavy attack in respond to enemies light attack and he will go way ahead of enemy in that trade, can push ppl really far away to throw them off or something, great in duel and great in fighting many ppl (full block stance).
Valkyrie - low dmg, great disables (will got buff soon on attack speed and recovery time - but we dont know exact numbers). Many options of combos, cuz she can chain shield bash and sweep (knock down) with most chains. A lot of options how to fight, so shes pretty fun. Right now she's not very strong (at least comparing to Warlord). Low dmg hurts on her, cuz she need to hit her enemy many times.
Kensei - he's pretty good, but can be a bit predictable. He's dash attack are pretty easy parried. His unblockable have long animation so its easy to dodge or parry, but he can feint it into side uninterrupt attack, it can suprise sometimes. Great range of attacks. He hits pretty hard too. He's really decent and i enjoy playing him.
Nobushi - strong character, great range, hidden stance that give a lot of option (to dodge, hide side from you will attack, it count on combo chain, can feint moves with it and end recovery time of your attacks), kick that can push ppl is pretty nice, few nice combos, bleed, few moves that allow you to take distance from enemy. +50% dmg on your attacks when enemy have bleed on him, so she hit hard then. She's easy to kill tho, if enemy sit on you and dont allow you to create distance.
And about look, this you need to judge yourself.
If you like the strong heroes with no flaws take warlord, if you dont care about how long it takes until valk gets her buff. Play her she is so versatile
For samurais i've got a rep 3 108 nobushi. She is pretty fun for me atleastthis post is pretty accurate how i feel about nobushi : https://www.reddit.com/r/Competitive...e_insights_my/
If you want to dominate, I can not give you any suggestions, as I am playing to have fun (and winning is not the only fun there is... at least for me not). If you are looking to have fun and don't care about how much stronger you are or if said toon is top tear, than my suggestions are the following:Originally Posted by Tr1stesse Go to original post
Valkyrie - the most fun I had this far. not easy to handle and even harder to master, but boy is she fun. And even mastered she will fall to some lesser players, as she is still underperforming atm.
Nobushi right after Valk - Kung Fu is just fun. Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, Tony Jaa (I know... not Kung Fu, but for my son he is, so I jump with him... he's my son and only six, so who cares) etc. I simply like the style and myth of Kung Fu. An her reach helps, if you are old like I am![]()
It is realy hard to make a suggestion, i feel like every hero is pretty awesome. The peacekeeper is like a noobstumping easy to play straight hero, because of the stabs, bleed, jumping in heavy and runnig grabs, which just work great + you got this awesome zoneattack.Originally Posted by Tr1stesse Go to original post
Imo the closest character to peacekeeper is orochi, both share the blocksystem, but the orochi is hitting way harder with his lights, i also feel his dodgelights are way better, he got overall more options and lot of tools + toys. (only his zone is slightly slower, still fast as hell)
I feel vs a stronger player Orochi is a better choice than a peacekeeper, so if you dont want to change to much, go for Orochi!!
