I am going to be as civil as I can be in this post. But you have enough on your plate to fix with For Honor before you can even begin to think about releasing Ghost Recon. I have been frustrated from the beginning with failed party creation, getting kicked from the group when we all hit ready, getting into games separate from my friends, unable to leave at character selection when I -realize- I'm no longer in a group with my friends, and being kicked from the game at random because someone got DC'd - mostly just before we lose or win, so we don't get any rewards. After I got fed up with that for tonight, I decided to try Ghost Recon on the open beta. Boy was that a mistake. My friend's computer just bricks itself when the game is open, VOIP programs go into disarray in loading screens, the absolute garbage Shift+F2 screen stumbles into existence like an uninvited drunken uncle at a 6 year old's birthday party, and the loading times are worse than Fallout 4. Neither of these 2 games are release material, I feel. I love TO DEATH For Honor, but I cannot get a single game where I feel evenly matched with my opponents (im rep 2 with 40ish gear score, going against a couple Rep 5s with 108 gear scores). It is absolutely bonkers that a brand new game ALWAYS gets to the point of looking for games with "All Skill Levels" as the final point before I get into a game. There have GOT to be a ton more people around my level/KDR/Win/Loss ratio. It is astounding that there is not a proper matchup system in place with a company this large. Furthering our problems is that For Honor somehow mutes my friend's mic volume at his PC Control Panel level, which forces him to alt tab and turn it up so I can hear him. When he doesn't realize it's muted, it just makes it that more frustrating to try and communicate.
All in all, I love the idea and gameplay behind For Honor AND Ghost Recon. However, the execution of the ideas has left me in a hugely disappointed state, even for an open Beta. I sincerely hope you guys can get it together because I so want to play the ever living hell out of both of these games.
They will if you stop with the mindless angry comments and implying Ubisoft doesn't care about their customers. While it seems they neglect us from time to time, we shouldn't be complete morons when it comes to asking them to fix problems. That just makes it worse. If problems were brought up in a more rational way, other than pre-teen spoiled little brats crying in all caps and horrible punctuation, then Ubisoft may be more inclined to listen.
I am sorry but I have to say, you are a dreamer, not only that Ubisoft gave us AGAIN P2P system, which failed horribly in RS:S, they didn't even bother to develop an anti-cheatsoftware, forgetting the problem in the Division, or RS:S and again they aren't banning the cheaters permanently, they give them a temporary ban...
And you think that they will hear us?
Ubisoft should have taken a deep breath long before releasing this game. I mean, besides everything else, it's the same story, over and over again: A game barely out of beta gets released while still plagued by a myriad of problems. Just like The Division had core game mechanics changed every 2 patches, we get a similar start with GB changed from beta to retail and now back to beta. I quit the Division even though I loved the game. I love FH and I'm still prepared to uninstall the moment I realize they persist with this tendency of altering game mechanics (not including class balance, of course).
Ok. why dont we take a deepbreath and think of what will get fixed in the next few patches. ok i agree p2p is not great but you can always open ports to sort out connection issues i did it with R6 and i dont get lag or network issues. Also give devs a break its not up to them when a games released and i bet alot of other decisions arent either.the developers care trust them. My biggest issue with FH is maybe the scoring\Titles.... I am not the best loser on games when its clearly a game of skill but i lose my **CKIN marbles when im holding off upto 3v1 and the 4th charges in to knock me off the ledge and is crowned heroic!! These things shoud be based on player performance not kill count alone, there should be negative choices in the Qchat too (they do say express yourself right)how can i say wow or nothing to team mates who run in to last my opponent catching me with a failed swing then stealing my kill and given all the glory when that guy is a tool.. The honourable bonus id like to see reviewed too, killing someone after a team member has wittled them down to there last breath is not honourable.
lastly i think UBI are smart not to respond to every bratty post, besides the forums are paid attention too otherwise they wouldn't be asking us for our opinioins.
