    Gold edition vs Deluxe edition

So, I don't get the difference here. If I get a gold edition I will get just a deluxe edition + season pass, correct? If it is then whats the point of buying a gold edition if the only difference is a season pass?

I think the point is you get it at a reduced price, that is all I think.

Normally buying the season pass, gives you the DLC content cheaper than buying them manually/single...

I know that, but it's not enough. I bought For Honor gold edition because It had 30 of premium account + 3 crates + deluxe edition + early access to new heroes. Here I just get a season pass and deluxe edition - it's not a good bundle in my opinion. You can always buy a season pass separately as well. So why would I go for a gold edition then? They should add something else to the gold edition.

Is it cheaper to buy the gold edition versus buying the deluxe version and season pass desperately?
I thought it was the same. given I only glanced at the prices.

Deluxe Edition gives you extra crap because apparently our 60 bucks ain't enough for those.

Gold Edition includes the extra crap and the Season Pass which will save money than buying the Season Pass and Standard/Deluxe Edition separately.

It's not a good practice. It they wanna do separate packs, it should have been Standard (Game), Deluxe (Season Pass and Game), and Collector's Edition (Game, Season Pass, Physical Merchandise).

I'll be picking Standard since I disagree on how they do this.

Especially when we don't even know what's in the season pass besides 2 dlcs.

You want my money, show me what I'm getting.

And I'll be boycotting this and every future Ubisoft game until perhaps - oh day- they:

-Release complete games that don't rely on years of patches to become playable

-Release all content initially without the need to "purchase" them via paid or in-game credits or without the need to buy "season passes."

    - Stop showcasing games at E3 only to have them look entirely worse come release (Siege anybody??)

    - Start acknowledging the concerns of their user base and address the issues.

    - Stop their microtransaction business model that is now in all of their new releases

    - Stop being lazy developers and actually put some thought, effort and creativity in their games.

Then maybe.. JUST MAYBE.. I'll start buying their games again.
