Honestly, playing as either conquerer or lawbringer they are just so slow in comparison and it feels like 9 times out of 10, people are peacekeepers. Why? Because it's so ****ing easy to just cheese with them.
Their ability to so quickly switch between stances is just unmatched making it impossible to block against them due to the natural delay of the character and latency in registering blocks.
I am having matches where people are just constantly cycling their stances and as they attack, I hear the block sound but the damage still goes through because the change in stance from the peacekeeper just seems too fast for the game to register my stances matching. It's absolutely ****ing horrible.
Playing peacekeeper is just so **** because you know it's going to reduce down to nothing more than the guard break and 3 stab attack because it's ridiculously powerful. Sure, there are counter guard breaks...when the decide to work which brings me onto a more general point, guard breaks are bollocks. Numerous times I guard break at the same time as my opponent yet their guard break registers while my animation continues and then I am stunned and then I miss the window t counter guard break. Yet, at times, guard breaks don't go through during attacks...why? Well, my guess is because people aren't guarding yet my guard break animation is perfectly fine for a guard break to go through.
Either way, peacekeeper may have little health but against a conquerer, you're slow, you're really slow. Even if you can charge your heavy it's still not fast enough considering it's easy for your opponent to block it if you follow it through after blocking an attack.
Idk what you are on, but as a pk main... Conquerors are the most cancerous thing... They don't have to do a damn thing but block, and wait for a parry or lucky guard break, into free light, into shield bash into free light, rinse repeat.
I would be fine if the conqueror had to actually fight back, but I have fought a large portion that just sit their... And do nothing but try to guard break and bash, otherwise blocking everything because all of the pk heavy stuff can and will be easily blocked. Dodge hit, blockable, combos, blockables, spam light... Still can block... And in games he can hit 3 rep... Oh look he ****ing heals from blocks... So fun... And ffs stop *****ing ABOUT BLEED. I am so sick of people saying pk bleed is op when it is delayed damage, but so many classes get free heavies after guardbreaks, free upfront damage, and nobody bats a damn eye.
The Conqueror does have an OP block. However, he is EXTREMELY slow. Having played my fair share of matches as the Conqueror, I can say that he has two combos: the shield bash mixup, and the infinite light attack. However, the light attack combo is useless and the shield bash mixup uses a TON of stamina. And charging his heavy is nice, but you can only use it to start a small combo, or get parried because it is INCREDIBLY slow...the only way to compete with an assassin class is to block. And being able to GB and bash simply keeps your opponent at bay; not to mention blocking doesn't heal him for very much...just sayinOriginally Posted by Bolderox Go to original post

And the bleed is OP because, for what it is, it does a decent amount of damage so it usually involves it being spammed and people running away and I don't think you need anyone to tell you that a conquerer or lawbringer is going to catch a peacekeeper.

Because the only way to punish a peackeeper is to parry her. Can't retaliate after a block because your lights attacks are so fast that you will be immune to guard break and hit us out of any dodge or counter hit, and all of her lights, dodge attacks and zone attack are safe on block.
Can't go offensive because you can stuff it with light attacks that do 50% more damage than ours.
Can't run you out of stamina and then go offensive because your backdashes immediately take you out of range of everything and can't be punished. Have to keep our guard permanently right because the moment we move it you can zone attack us for nearly as much damage as one of our heavies.
Conqueror is one of PKs worst matchups, but it's still favourable for the PK - that's how obscenely OP she is.
And by the way, her HP pool is only 20 less than the conqueror - the same as one PK zone attack, or less than 1 conqueror heavy.
Do you even know what you want? PK is nerfed to the ground atm. You cant expect to move as fast as her with LB do you? do a parry and rek her. Block stance change is VERY different matter, that needs fixing but not in this case. You hear the blocking sound but the damage goes through. Thats right.
